DarXyde is completely wrong, framerate has an impact on CPU load, not resolution. Changing detail settings has a CPU impact because it increases the number of draw calls being made.
13.7GB, why couldn't they fit the whole game on a cartridge. Is it seriously only an 8GB cartridge?
Yeah, if there's a discord chat app on Xbox One that'd be great but if it doesn't have this I kind of don't see the point given you can use discord on a smart phone.
#1 best seller on Amazon currently, PS4 owners passing on this are making a big mistake.
GTA V on Switch would be a very interesting experiment but I have no interest in actually playing the game on the platform.
The optional content in the game is pretty impressive, actually feels like an open world adventure without all the normal BS that comes with open world games.
Xbox can afford to give away its exclusives as part of a subscription because there aren't many of them and the ones they have are multiplayer focused with the games as a service model implemented. Hell, State of Decay 2 is only a $30 game.
After you get past the introduction the center of the world is a lake and from that lake it branches off into a bunch of different areas. You can sail to these different areas but they also often connect to each other in ways you wouldn't notice right away. You are encouraged to back track and re-explore areas you've previously visited as the terrain changes (won't say more to avoid spoilers) and new abilities unlock. Sometimes you'll find enemies that are too strong at your c...
It's pretty impressive that it's this far along but we're still a few years from it being a good alternative to playing the game on a console.
We've all heard this song and dance before, I'll wait for it to release.
It's definitely my GOTY so far ahead of Monster Hunter, Yakuza 6, Shadow of the Colossus, and Hokuto Ga Gotoku. The first few hours were a bit to cutscene heavy but once you get out to the lake and are just free to go anywhere you want the game really opens up. I'm constantly surprised by the amount of side content there is, and it's fun to explore the world due to its interconnected nature. I don't think the comparisons to Bloodborne were inaccurate.
I still play Bloodborne on occasion despite platinuming it almost 3 years ago. The PS4 library is substantial at this point. I have more than 30 physical PS4 games that cannot be purchased on another console.
It's not like Sony hasn't had critically acclaimed games before. Uncharted 2 and TLOU scored a 96 and 95 on metacritic.
At least you're honest, hope you have fun.
The idea of Labo is great for kids but there's a concerning amount of childless adults excited about it.
Why are you differentiating between first and second party? I guess you'll also downplay Forza Horizon 4 when it is announced at E3. They've got multiple exclusives already in 2018 with a metascore over 90.
Why apologize? Did they hurt a multi-billion dollar conglomerate's feelings?
Yeah, why would anyone be excited for the highest rated game of 2018?
I wouldn't mind if Gears of War 5 changed things up and went more towards the direction of that original trailer featuring the track Mad World. Gears of War 4 was fine but it didn't blow me away.
