That argument doesn't make sense. The majority of PS4 users also won't own an Xbox One X so I guess that means the PS4 will be the best place to play???
I thought the beast was gonna do 4K60? Are you saying people took the words of a PR person too seriously? Wow.
If I pick this up I'll probably do the PC version as my 1080Ti should provide the best 4K experience.
What do you know, they've since said it's not 4K60 on Xbox One X.

Crackdown 3 "Could" finally release in 2018.
What does that even mean "as their base system."? What other 4K60 adventure games exist on Xbox One X? It's going to be 30fps on Xbox One and One X. RoTR only had a 60fps mode because it is a 360 game in terms of its design.
Bullshit, RoTR didn't run at 4K60 on Xbox One X and this will almost certainly be a more visually ambitious game.
I own both versions of Ryse, the Xbox One version is wholly inferior to God of War, unsurprising due to its age. The PC version is better in some ways and worse in others. Ryse also has far less real gameplay and the environments are extremely small and closed off compared to God of War. It also doesn't use volumetric lights as frequently as God of War, nor does it have the neat particle system.
Anyway I don't know why this is supposed to be an attack on God of War...
I don't think Japanese exclusives would be a good investment for Xbox since it's only popular in the west. They could start by just having new exclusives in general and then after they've done that maybe try some Japanese games.
That's a very good point, this could allow for the transfer of licenses to other users in the same way a transaction works with bitcoin or ethereum.
This is true, outside of the sales or high-budget new releases it's not easy to find anything.
All cryptocurrencies can be stored offline but the issue is that using them requires an internet connection. Many platforms, PS4 included, already use encrypted security keys for their game DRM. If this encryption is able to be bypassed as it will eventually, the same will be true of something using block chain that allows offline play.
Xbox gamers have proven interested in unfinished early access games so why not.
A blockchain-based solution would require an internet connection. Would this be a single activation or would it require a blockchain verification every time you try to play the game? If it's the former it would probably be circumvented easily just like every other DRM scheme, if it's the latter we're back to Xbox One's always online system.
I'm currently stuck on the last one. Keep getting close but it has a lot of health and kills you in a few hits.
Per the Dualshockers article

MS gaming revenue FY 2018 Q3, their most recently reported quarter is $2.2 billion in revenue
Here is Sony's most recent quarterly statement just released today

I find the number of updates for a single player game to be a bit annoying. I haven't encountered a single bug on any version so I'm not even sure what's being changed aside from text size options. Oh well, still easily GOTY 2018.
You're confusing revenue with profit, Microsoft reported $3.9 billion in revenue for Xbox. Sony reported $6.5 billion in revenue for Playstation in the same quarter.
Xbox One X is actually more like 4x as powerful, 3x in terms of pixel fillrate.
Glad it is doing well. I platinumed the game the other day and it was well worth the money.
