I am surprised that it still has 35% of its player base after that much time.

The PSP Go launched long before the Switch and it had a dock for TV play and worked with a Dualshock 3 via Bluetooth.

PS5 will probably be teased at E3 2019 with some early footage of games and then release in November 2020. PS4 is still selling very well and has so much on the horizon in terms of software so announcing a successor already would be a mistake.

Not really

Glad Yakuza 6 is getting some recognition, SEGA really messed up delaying the western release to the same week as God of War. I paid extra to get it a month early to avoid having them compete for time.

I don't have any faith that it will be good.

2020 I think makes the most sense and the PS5 should be backwards compatible with the ability to further enhance games. Maybe even update some PS4 games that already have Pro enhancements to have PS5 enhancements, like native 4K60 modes, improved AA, etc.

EA is one of the largest 3rd party publishers, I would trust their data more than VGChartz who has been proven wrong on many occasions.

Awesome, I'm really hoping Bend has what it takes.

Apple doesn't include these stickers because they've got smarter lawyers. Instead Apple just makes it extremely difficult or impossible to repair items by using custom components that no one can source, including their logo on everything so refurbished components get seized at the border by customs as counterfeit and destroyed, etc.

Not how this works.

The screenshot in the thumbnail is amusing because none of the light sources in it cast shadows.

Before Steamspy went down it showed there were 10-11 million copies sold on Steam. My guess is they'll do the same thing with RDR2, release the PC version later so they can trick some Playstation and Xbox owners into re-buying it for the better performance and visuals. GTA V sold so many copies because many people double dipped.

I think an Alan Wake sequel makes more sense than Quantum Break.

You don't need PS+ to get game updates, system updates, to download things from the Playstation Store or to message and voice chat with people.

Technologically I agree late 2019 is possible but I think PS4 momentum will still be too strong in 2019 to justify a PS5 then. Plus, the longer they wait the better pricing they can get on memory. Would be nice to get a console with 32GB of RAM and some sort of flash cache to go with the mechanical hard drives.

Microsoft and Sony put 8GB of RAM in these consoles so they would last as long as possible, I think 2020 is the earliest we will get a new machine.

The PS4's best games are mostly single player anyway, it's understandable why many wouldn't feel the need to pay for online.

There should be a PC version so we can play it at 60fps.

Let's see how this game compares to other current gen titles when it's out. Their pre-release 4K screenshots didn't even have shadows for most of the light sources.
