No, but I would be interested in it from a technical perspective.
You don't have to turn ads on at all, this feature is optional and disabling it has zero consequences.
The setting has been there for years but it seems Sony may have only recently began utilizing it. I disabled it long before the Destiny 2 controversy because it explicitly explains what the setting does.
I doubt this is the first time, the PS4 is too popular and government agencies in the past have not hesitated to ask companies for user data. They had a warrant so it's not like Sony could really object.
Because they already got your money if you play it on PC or Xbox One.
Uncharted and The Last of Us have single player campaigns.
Publishers are making more money than ever from recurrent consumer spending. If gamers want this kind of thing to stop they need to stop buying games that include these features.
The best part about these "physical" digital releases is that you cannot seek a refund from the retailer or from Microsoft, which is not the case when you buy digital from Microsoft or buy a physical game.
I'm in the 5.50 beta and it's mostly smooth sailing. I have had an issue though where swapping controllers doesn't seem to work without first disabling the controller you want to replace.
No
Bring Ishin to the west!
I think we could use a couple of more controller revisions personally, that's what Xbox One needs the most right now.
I think the graphics for the most part hold up well with current-gen console standards. The only PS4 games I'd really put ahead of it are things like Horizon, Uncharted 4 / Lost Legacy, and Ratchet & Clank.
Glad that they did this but I'm still satisfied with my launch PS4. I just use it for exclusives and Sony's first party games already do a good job of taking advantage of the launch hardware.
I haven't played much since the Oppressor was added but most of the new vehicles and buildings are extremely expensive. Saying "do a heist!" is easier said than done as each heist requires a bunch of setup missions to be completed.
The Xbox One has received a slightly worse experience the entire gen, why are you surprised that it is the case with Monster Hunter? PS4 was always going to be the lead platform for this game since it's the most popular current-gen console. Monster Hunter didn't even release on Xbox One in Japan.
Nioh and Nier Automata were two of the highest rated games of 2017 and they released on PC and PS4, but not Xbox One. I don't think either one of those games fits your "Otaku style" games given Xbox fans were excited for Scalebound and Xbox fans buy Dark Souls, but whatever. Sounds like you're just using the typical "weeb shit" argument to downplay missing out on games.
Is that why every new vehicle in GTA O costs $3,000,000+ while missions pay out $15-20k each?
That's fair but I felt the concessions of Redux on consoles were better than this. I'd rather have worse graphics than a worse framerate, especially in a first person shooter.
That said, I don't plan on playing this on console.
I'm actually more excited for Yakuza 6 than God of War because I've played other Yakuza games and know I will like 6. God of War though looks like a radical departure from the previous installments that were great and could be really good or a severe disappointment. Buying both games release day regardless but I did think SEGA moving the release date was questionable.
