Exactly, in the same way Kiwami was a complete remake of Yakuza 1 on a newer engine. Supposedly they've improved the Dragon Engine a fair amount in Kiwami 2 and it has fewer performance issues than Yakuza 6 did on the regular PS4 model.
Ghost really impressed visually but we should remember that these are the guys that made Second Son only a few months into the PS4's life, which also was quite impressive visually for the time.
I wonder how many complaints are actually coming from PS4 owners. I've seen Xbox players complain about this but it seems like fake outrage. I suspect most of them were never going to play the PS4 version anyway. I will admit though that maybe I can't relate because I've never played Fortnite.
I can understand why he would think that. When you look at the visuals, physics and animations of Uncharted 4 next to Rise of the Tomb Raider, it's hard to believe Uncharted 4 is real.
I thought the actual content of Sony's was great but the format was a mistake. That Last Of Us Part II footage was fucking incredible.
They saw that Bungie was able to release multiple games with virtually no content that then were finished with DLC packs and thought "hey that looks good to me!"
It's a shame it was never ported to PS4. God of War 3 remastered looked excellent on PS4 so Ascension would have looked even better.
The PS3's design was definitely not ideal for all games but some games that were really optimized for it like God of War 3 and Ascension still impress.
All this "X game would be perfect on the Switch" shit is really annoying. Not every game can easily be ported to the Switch, it's significantly weaker than the other consoles.
I think the PS5 will support UHD Blu-ray because they're going to need higher capacity discs, 50GB will no longer cut it. They didn't feel like including UHD purely for movie playback was worth the cost as games would still always have to be on regular 25-50GB Blu-rays to maintain compatibility with all PS4s.
Of course they will have disk drives, digital distribution isn't going anywhere. The question is whether they will have disc drives, as it's spelled disc when referring to optical media.
Really? It hasn't even been a year.
No it couldn't, I have a 1080Ti and on max settings Far Cry 3 is not a locked 60fps at 4K.
"Kiryu-chan!"
I beat the campaign, it was challenging but a solid experience. Wouldn't mind a more polished sequel with more environment and enemy variety.
I decided to boot my 360 up for the first time in months, it is GDPR related. Xbox One also got a similarly timed GDPR update.
I got the physical HK release last year. It works just like any other game but it's significantly more expensive than the digital version. I like physical games though so I thought it would be a neat novelty.
How many actual copies I wonder.
Very strange at first but looking at how cutback the visuals are on a regular Xbox One, it isn't so surprising. Not only did they increase resolution significantly, they also improved draw distances, textures, lighting, post process effects, etc. Xbox One X provides a significant advantage over the regular Xbox One in terms of power but when you're already quadrupling the rendering resolution, there's not a lot left in the tank to improve everything else without performance penalt...
It wasn't as bad as Yakuza 5 on PS3 but it had framerate drops and screen tearing in Kamurocho. Onomichi on the other hand performed much better.
