@I'm always right

But those generations had atleast -comparable- power. SNES was comparable to Genesis, PS2 was comparable to Xbox and GCN, n64 was comparable to PS1, and so on. Now they're just completely giving up. Wii was a outlier scenario that only won because everyone from soccer moms to your physical therapist thought motion gaming was the next big thing, but it's obviously not. Nintendo has turned their back on non-casual gamers and that's why t...

I don't think many games will be 4k, and of them, they won't be the lookers. 4K just doesn't make sense, the console is 4.5x as powerful, so you're basically wasting all of the power, not on graphics, but the equivalent to antialiasing. In the future 4k will allow better graphics detail and crispness, but at this point in time it makes more sense to just use AA and increase the graphics, which is what I'll bet most Scorpio games do.

4.14 TFLOPS just means doubled framerate on most games... Which isn't really all that much of an upgrade.
5.5 TFLOPS would mean improved graphics, which is noticable enough for consumers to bite.

I'm buying one because I have no PS4 at the moment. Although if I already owned a PS4, I wouldn't upgrade to 4.14 TFLOPS, it'd have to be more substantial(5.5 TFLOPS) for me to bite.

Depending on how powerful Neo is, it may be the same exact quality with doubled framerate. 4.14 TFLOPS isn't much extra room for greater graphics when you're at 60fps.

I'm actually hoping the 5.5 TFLOPS rumor is correct because of this...

I always thought it was strange they got a contract with Nintendo for 3 Sonic games when Xbox and PS4 reflect Sega better. I mean, the Xbox controller looks like a straight port of the Dreamcast controller. What were they thinking?

Overall Scorpio-gen is getting confusing... I mean how will the consumer know which games are Scorpio-only if it's advertised as 'seamless across all platforms?'. You're gonna get to the point when consumers see games catered to 3 models and not remembering which model they own. "Oh this said Xbox Scorpio why didn't it play on my Xbox One?" and such. "Oh this said Xbox Aquarius, why won't it play on my Xbox Scorpio". Scalable tech can go too f...

I'm just glad they both can compete. I don't really mind if the console is $499... Just give us 4.6+TFLOPS and SATA III so we can get increased SSD speed.

Sounds like Sony juked MS yet again, by releasing less powerful specs than the console will have at release. They're too good at this. Hope the rumors are true! Neo/PC is what I'll be playing.

Can't tell if serious. They could have announced the game for the 25th anniversary but it might not be ready for another year.

She's pretty weird. Like what's up with all of these artists that think every bodily jolt they make needs to be put into a music video. It's so attention whorish and weird.

I'm hoping PS4-Neo had a few APUs lined up and chose a better one. From the rumors they were considering to do a CPU upgrade also, but it would cost extra money... hope they added it in. Scorpio is gonna be a beast and I want to see Neo compete.

I'm just hoping Neo is above the reported 4.14 TFLOPS and sports SATA III for SSD speed.

The only thing I'm noticing with MS is they're willingly throwing themselves into the Dreamcast scenario... 2 years after, PS5 will be out, no devs will cater to Scorpio, and any lead they have will be diminished.

If they release an update to play PS5 level games (Xbox three?) They'll have abandoned Scorpio users. Unless they plan on Scorpio (X2) being the 1080p model and X3 being the 4k model.

It may or may not work out for them... the per...

The big questions that remain are Halo 6's fate, and if matches will be console vs PC (unfair) in any games

OMFG seriously they announced two upcoming consoles so you have two choices. It's not rocket science and if they're undermining their own sales, they're doing it IN FAVOR of the consumer, which is all you could ask for.

When Sony lost money on PS3's everyone said what a great company
When Sony lost money on PSNetwork everyone said what a great company

When M$ cuts into their own sales by giving the consumer an option OMFG M$ what...

6 TFLOPS is not 4K gaming, atleast by M$ math

Halo 5 runs 900p-1080p graphics not as good as PS4 even
So with 4.5x the power how could
Halo 6 run 4K and improve graphics beyond PS4 level

It doesn't add up. You'd be with the same exact graphics or less, and still not hit 4K the entire time, what's the point? They'll likely stay at 1080p and improve graphics beyond belief and market it as '4K' and dumbass consumer...

I kinda like FFX's quirks here and there, they bring a sense of humility to the experience and remind you that you kinda have to fill in the blanks to make the story your own. The game is not perfect by any means, and that's what makes it real. It IS an older game now, also, so I'll let it slide compared to new games. I didn't think the remasters were super high quality either- still seems very PS2.5ish.

I guess to get the real FFX nex-gen experience, we&...
