Breaking My Limit

Sonny Moore is a pussy with no skills. That's why his old band From First To Last fired his ass, and his follow up band(Sonny, named after himself, self-righteous douche) never worked out. Skrillex is just another douchey take on his name. He's a tasteless loser and doesn't need to be anywhere near KH.

Well I played fruit ninja with real swords and fruit way before this game came out. Maybe it could be a ninja who like's slicing fruit? I dunno. I feel like my shenanigans might be more interesting than this movie. These kids are into so much weird shit these days.

I always thought that was a stark plus for JRPGs. Even your heroes had heroes, which is more realistic. And while they might be apathetic ego-centric badasses, they didn't consider themselves the center of the world, rather they just did the right thing when the time comes, again, more realistic. When worst comes to worst, their followers are even heroes, which makes so much damn sense. You say that like it's a bad thing. If you don't have your own heroes in real life, and do...

I'm not speaking on difficulty with the Behemoth being a mini-boss, I'm speaking on it's rate of being in a trailer. It's literally like every other trailer which goes against the logic of it being a mini-boss. I'm really wondering if they're having a hard time coming up with enemies.

And as far as a fantasy based on reality. Do we really have to get to the nitty gritty on this? Nomura called it a fantasy based on reality because it was originall...

Actually my mind is not made up on the game. It can go either way depending on if classic FF enemies make a return and magitek robots heavily outweigh hunting, it's been the other way around so far. Also Behemoth has been used in so many trailers it makes me wonder if they realize this guy is supposed to be a near mini-boss grade enemy. Makes me wonder if they even know what they're doing when it comes to enemies or not. I'd say I'm 40/60 on enjoying this game to it's ...

Cabela's Hunting Simulator XV

3565d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Well actually we've seen hours of gameplay in tons of areas, Tabata has highlighted the cooking(hunting) aspect of the game, and there have been tons of 'World of Wonder' videos showcasing wildlife, which is inherently huntable, not mechs, or goblins, or iron giants. So at this point it seems that hunting wildlife is a big aspect of the game, and something to watch out for.

At best, I'm just hoping that it's balanced with classic enemies, Bombs, Marilit...

Well, that's part of the reason in waiting for 14nm FinFet, lower prices- also if Ninty launches in March of next year, the price of PS4 will likely be $299 on either 28 OR 14 nm process. That's almost a year from now. If Sony doesn't drop price, it's not because they won't profit at a lower price, it'll be because they just don't have to. Ninty on the other hand should price it at $299 if they can still profit at that price. They're behind and need an ins...

I just don't agree. For the power of a PS4 it'd be near impossible to do as a handheld right now, not to mention costs would be through the roof. Why not just do a PS4 level console on 14nm FinFet and charge $299? So many people would buy it, and if you have good enough cross functionality with handhelds, you don't come off as someone trying to base all of your popularity on the handheld market, and desperate to merge functionality. It's the best of both worlds, and it com...

I have a feeling they'll get pretty close. They're licensing optimization software and likely will have more time to optimize after more of the game is completed. I'm actually hoping to play on Neo though, so I can play 1080p30 locked. Fingers crossed.

That's a fine example, but you also usually don't end up buying the stock model and upgrading to the higher end model 3 years later.

If they're going to do this, they need to offer the higher end model with the regular model at the start of a generation. I don't care how big the box is, or if it costs an extra $100-200 to get the tech early, it's better than spending $400 twice.

When PS5 rolls around, give us PS5 for the value conscio...

True, it seems like this is mostly one area so there could be a whole lot more diversity moving forward. It's actually the first game I plan to pick up when I buy a PS4(holding out for Neo, hopefully) anyway. We'll see. On the otherhand I've got this fear Tabata has this idea that we'll be grilling Garula steaks every night- a fine RPG aspect, but can be taken too far. Waiting on Sept 30.

Also, IGN's choice in music wasn't great. Yoko Shimomura...

Something about this trip just still feels too hunter-bro to me. I mean, can we get some more enemies that you'd want to fight? Not all deer-like, rhinos, or garulas, but more fearsome enemies? The samurai enemy and snakes are a start, but it's still pretty hunter-bro for the most part.

I'd like to see more samurai, snakes, goblins(and the like), mechs, imperial magitek types, iron giants(and the like), but it looks like it's going to be 80% hunting... *...

It's not a remaster, it's a rerelease on last-gen consoles. That's why the article says it's the last straw. They could have easily done the right thing and put it on nex-gen, but they didn't, they're going to make you pay the whole way through again on nex-gen by buying games you don't want like Infinite Warfare.

That's up there too. I just think the laughing scene is quintessential to the game, the makeout scene, that's personal though ;)

I really have no agenda. I just fail to see how Uncharted changed the industry forever with their 'level of quality' when other devs beat them to it. They have the best looking game this gen, but that's partially because they have the best system. When it comes to TPS games Gears has better combat and beat them to the same level of detail around two years ahead of Uncharted. And from a gameplay, story, and character perspective, I fail to see how Uncharted isn't shovelware...

Oh puh-lease. ND is good, not amazing, definitely not from a storytelling point of view. Their games are Hollywood generic, banter is lame, jokes are lame, and trys to capitalize of a modern pirate/treasure hunter theme which is not all that amazing. They're not ALL that. They have good graphics, but especially last-gen their games did not look all that great. Gears beat them to the same level of quality years ahead of time. I just don't see how they're all that amazing.

Another about the laughing scene? That was one of the best parts of X! He was just play-laughing to cheer up Yuna. It was the ultimate sign of endearment- showing that he'd put up any facade to make her happy, and even taught Yuna how to whistle if things turn bad. Hands down my favorite scene in FFX.

It's part of a 14 part series, each making a case on why Final Fantasy I-XIV is the best FF.

I've never gotten what makes Uncharted so great. Action is hollywood generic, banter is lame, jokes are lame, gameplay less than stellar for TPS. It's really shovelware. Drake is that 'perfect' type of guy, perfectly boring. It's a 4/10, a 6/10 just for graphics. Just like how you won't change my opinion, you're not gonna change his. Get over it.
