I thought Yoshi's Island was relatively difficult. This just seems like a cake walk.
Did not enjoy the demo. Seems much simpler and slower paced similar to Kirby. Definitely passing on this one. There are plenty of other games I'm looking forward to, not to mention my current backlog anyway.
Pokémon probably. Gonna guess Pokémon, Animal Crossing, and Luigis Mansion will bring in the holidays.
Remake is appreciated. Art style is strange. Link looks like he could be a Disney Tsum Tsum.
But off topic, there was just a huge direct with tons of announcements. Yet, I don't think there is a single article on n4g that refers directly to the direct. I guess this really is Playstation nation.
2017 (and 2018) were great years. But there were lots of ports (which isn't a bad thing for a new console). 2019 is stacked with quality games that aren't ports and many of which are exclusives.
I have plenty of online matches where I can't tell if there is any lag at all.
I always like the "smash is for children argument." Have you ever tried to let a child play smash? My 4 year old can button mash to victory against low difficulty AI in Street Fighter, but can't manage anything against a lvl 1 CPU in Smash brother.
So I guess Tekken 7 is just a port of Tekken 6. Dragon ball Xenoverse 2 is just a port of Xenoverse 1. Soul calibur 6 is just a port of Soul Calibur 5. And Mortal Kombat 11 is going to be a port of Mortal Kombat 10.
If you're not a big fighting game fan, just say that you aren't a big fighting game fan and can't appreciate the subtle differences that go into each sequel.
If your thing is story based games, and you can appreciate a sequel that reuses all the same ...
Exactly. How many people bought the last of us on PS3 and then turned around and bought the last of us remastered less than 2 years later on PS4?
Feel sorry for Xbox only gamers. "Wait til E3. You'll see" - Xbox fans year round.
I thought this wasn't a thing anymore. Are the only games PS4 is going to support cross play for are the games with such huge player bases that it wouldn't even matter?
Why not just call it 5.3333333333333333333333333333 33333333333?
If you read closely, Smash was the 5th best selling game of 2018 (as in the entire year). Spider man is at #6.
If you stick with it, the joy con button dpad isn't that bad. Sure an actual dpad is better, but I've become very competent at just using the buttons to move for 2D games.
Sounds a lot like Xenoverse.
But you create your own character and level up... Why is it not an rpg?
I agree. Everyone should have the option to choose.
Mario Odyssey is the hardest game you'll ever play.
I'm 30 with a wife and kids and I learn games much faster than when I was younger. Kids who put in 1000 hours on one game will probably beat me with my 20 hour investment. But if we're both playing a game for the first time, I'm probably going to win.
It's not a "down vote". It's a "disagree". As in, someone disagrees with his opinion. Which is a legitimate thing to do.
