GTA V is on sale every other sale. GTA 6 will surely follow a similar pattern (when a new parent would get time to play the game, which from experience is about 3 years, only to lose all time again after they start doing sports)
I think you missed the point here.
GTA6 should get those hold outs to upgrade.
They're just releasing a PC. And they don't intend to subsidize the cost so it's going to priced like any other PC and probably expected to ship PC-like numbers and not the many millions that consoles sell. After that, they'll eventually go third party and xbox hardware will be a thing of the past. Sega says hi.
That's why xbox's next (and final) "console" will actually be a PC.
I'm really curious on their optimizations for rebirth. That was one is notably more demanding than remake.
Just give the game an ending and allow players to host their own servers? It doesn't need to be a forever game.

For the record, there is currently only one game being sold for 80$ and it's not on Xbox.
If you are very young with tons of free time, you're probably also broke and can't afford $360 per year on a gaming subscription.
The ouya was $99. And it sold terribly so yes, outselling the main consoles (minus Xbox) on any week is impressive, even on a down week.
To be clear, it was the #2 selling console for that week. Behind only the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle. In 3rd, was the PS5 slim.
Sony is supposedly releasing some kind of handheld along with the new PS6, so you're not far off. They are definitely trying to capture some of the people that prefer the convenience of gaming handheld.
^ Why did you even bring xbox into it? We already know they're dead, hence the terrible sales. Yes Xbox is more overpriced, yes they are also selling way less. Xbox is no longer a competitor. There is only Playstation now for the high end market and Nintendo for the low - mid range market. The next xbox will be lucky to outsell the Wii U.

Word on the street is this delay is the direct result of the employees they fired from attempting to unionize. Many of them were senior employees.

No one drops $1300 in cash for a phone. They almost always get a payment plan or other discount by locking in a multi year service contract.
For every 1 of you, there are at least 5 people that have never bought a Switch game but managed to play all the good ones.
