And that's related how?
Competition is very important. Without competition, we probably still wouldn't have party chat on PS4. Without competition, PS Now would still be streaming only (they started supporting downloads after Gamepass). Without competition, PS Now would still be $15 per month (they dropped their price because of Stadia). Without competition, the PS3 would probably have stayed at $600 as would the PS4, and likely all future Playstations.
I wouldn't include FFT or Disgaea as "like XCom". Haven't played Valkyria Chronicles so I can't comment.
Game streaming is the future? Maybe. But self driving hovercrafts may also be the future. But I'm certainly not riding in one tomorrow.
Based on our current technological advancements, Stadia will be a degraded experience compared to a bulky noisy console. Maybe in the future, this won't be the case. But this future will not be November.
If Google fails, my life is over. Gotta keep Gmail and Google drive alive. Everything else can go though.
And maybe not even then. Look at the price of the failed Wii U.
I saw that Overwatch was nowhere in the best sellers list on the eshop.
No different than a console maker releasing a console that can also be used to watch movies. Now they've targeted the movie watchers and the gamers.
Sorry man. I do feel your pain. Pillars of eternity is out now. Baldurs gate is around the corner. And pillars of eternity 2 before the end of the year.
@PinkNekoFire, thanks! That does answer my question. And yes not an hour per day. Probably an hour every other day at best. (so probably even less than that). My only chance to get in anything more than an hour would be on weekends and even then that probably won't be anything more than 3 hours.
As a gamer who has never played an MMO (unless you count Guild wars), what kind of time commitment would I be looking at if I tried to play it. Would I be able to play for an hour at a time and be alright?
They should all be alternate costumes for Chrom in smash bros.
On Amazon, it says that it can be used with other racing games as well. If it supports racing games other than Mario Kart, then I'm buying two lol.
No one thinks it's GTA IV: Bowling with Roman?
Actually, it switches on and off. Just like a lite.
I think you are totally wrong. Nintendo themselves have already confirmed that something like 50% (might have been more) of Switch users play with it docked for some period of time. Anyone playing a 4 player split screen game is probably going to dock their Switch.
It's a lite Switch. You just turn it on and off.
Mario paint was an amazing game. You take that back!
Lmao. The responses to this comment (and the associated votes) demonstrate the level of reading comprehension of the general n4g userbase.
While I don't have the numbers to say "almost everyone" purchases their games online, I can say that I buy all of my games online. Most of them are delivered to my house, but sometimes I'll order store pickup in which case, I still buy them online and then just grab them from the door without having to go find the game ...
My 8 year old wouldn't know what you mean but my 8 year old also wouldn't be on this site. And for the record, swearing isn't mature.
