First party Nintendo titles typically have pretty high attach rates, plus the Wii U has a shortage of quality fighting games. It's no surprise that plenty of Wii U owners bought it so soon after release. Doesn't hurt that it's a very solid fighting game with an "arcade" mode.
Who cares? The bread and butter of Uncharted is its single player. The multiplayer is just a bonus, just like SF5's bread and butter is the multiplayer and the single player is just a bonus.
It's funny that we value "content" so much more than actually having fun. If you have a fun game that you can spend hours on, who cares if you're doing the same thing over and over again as long as you're enjoying it.
Only reason I might not get it is that I'm tired of using analog sticks for shooters. I want some motion controls, with maybe a gun accessory.
I still need to give the demo another shot. It took me over an hour to figure out how to equip a weapon. Needless to say, fighting armed soldiers with no weapon was an extremely tedious process.
The last wii u game.
It's too bad I already bought terraria for my 360, ps3, vita, and x1.
Or maybe some people have grown tired of the same formula time and time again. And I may be one of them. I purchased every 'main' Pokemon game from Red to X, and I think I'm just tired of it. Online isn't too much fun, because I don't like grinding (which is required to be competitive).
But I will wreck as Machamp in Pokken Tournament.
I don't think I understand your ranking system.
Nintendo had the original upgradeable console with the expansion pak. That was an upgrade, I had no problems with.
@SourtreeDing, People love to talk about how the PS3 has outsold the 360. The whole truth is that the PS3 was supported longer than the 360 was. While the 360 was being supported by Microsoft, it outperformed the PS3. When Microsoft stopped releasing games, the PS3 was still being supported with great games (and great value thanks to ps plus) and then went on to overtake it.
We have to spend money on a stage??? It should just come with the character.
Yes! Let us play as Sheik in a game that isn't Smash bros.
Fyi, you have to pay full price to get access to this "demo"
This is one of my favorite games for 2016. I couldn't really get into Dark Souls 2 (though I did like the original Dark Souls). I may pick up Bloodborne (digital) next time it goes on sale for $30 or less.
Nice, I think I'm going to make salt and sanctuary for the X1. But I'll have to call it "Pepper and Holy Places"
I don't think rage quitting is a problem. The problem is that rage quitters don't get the loss, and the remaining opponent doesn't get the win. As long as that is resolved, I have no problem with rage quitters.
Only works if the consumers are willing to spend the money on an unfinished product. If the consumers don't agree with it, the consumers won't buy it. If the consumers are buying it, then it's a viable business plan.
I'm thoroughly enjoying SF5. I am happy that they released it now. Would I like extra features? Sure. Am I willing to wait for the extra features? Yes. Would I rather play multiplayer (the most important feature) now instead of waiting for the remaining features to be complete? Yes. And I'm having a blast. Sonic Boom!
I liked MK Mythologies. I would love to see that released on the VC or as an HD remake (or even port) for whatever console.
No, but if Nintendo sold a digital copy on the DS/DSi, there's a good chance that it would still work on your 3DS.
About as much sense as canceling Fable Legends or Project spark after years of development.
