Obvious trolling but profanity, gore, and sexual content are not requirements for a quality game.
Holiday season is the most important time of the year for companies.
I already pre ordered and I almost never pre order games.
I'll probably get it first on PS4 and later on Xbox when it's on sale. Only because I expect (hope?) that 20 years from now, the newest Xbox will still be able to play it, whereas I'd probably have to dig out an older system (assuming I haven't sold it) if I only had it on PS4.
But is it a better TV than the 55inch 1080p 240hz Samsung I bought 5 years ago for $900?
If the only downgrade is graphics and not performance (in terms of frame rate or even load times), then that's fine with me. I'm still gaming on 1080p tvs.
Best not smash bros game is Rivals of Aether. Playstation has the IP to do it, but instead of trying so hard to not be smash bros. Just make a better version of Smash bros.
Sounds like you may be describing yourself with that comment.
Good luck buying a $150 pc that can play Xbox games.
I bought 6 games. I think I have a problem.
And struggle. Don't forget struggle.
Mortal Kombat vs The Boys would make a lot more sense.
Do the fans include the 6 million that bought it in the first week of retail?
Someone smart (not me lol) said that Pokémon has always had the same target audience. People who were starting for the first time (teens / pre-teens). It's not meant for us Gen one players, though they certainly will accept our money. When you look at it like this, it all makes a lot more sense. If you feel like Pokémon has grown stale, it's because you've outgrown it and that's perfectly fine.
100MB per minute at 1080p? Yeah, just *who* is this being marketed to? That's too expensive for a casual and a serious gamer will want a physical rig. No chance anyone will have any kind of decent experience playing on the go, you'd be better off with a handheld gaming device, be it a phone with games downloaded on it or the Switch.
I'm all in once I can stream from my Xbox one to my Switch.
Now if only game freak could go into an extreme amount of detail on their designs...
From the very article you cited:
"While “Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition” and “Ultra Street Fighter IV” could be purchased as paid updates, fans had to purchase a copy of “Super Street Fighter IV” to get them, rendering the original copy of the game useless."
The original copy of Street Fighter V has never been rendered useless, as all updates have come to it as DLC, just as they've promised. Just because they've bundled the DLC ...
I never pre order consoles. I get them when they get a game that I'm interested in that can't be played on an older console. We'll see which console gets that game first and when it happens. My guess is that my first next Gen console will be the PS5 around 2023, but we'll see.
PS3 wasn't backwards compatible outside of the launch models. PS4 wasn't backwards compatible at all. So out of 4 consoles (not counting PS1 obviously) only 2 really supported backwards compatibility. And Sony's business stance hasn't indicated that they'll always support it going forward.
