Microsoft controls the desktop with their operating systems https://www.netmarketshare.... however they don't control the rest of the computing infrastructure which consists of smartphones, the internet of things, server rooms and supercomputers.

You can solo Bloodborne including the Old Hunters DLC although it is definitely advisable to level up appropriately.

As for the Dark Souls series, I got all the way to Anor Londo (Dark Souls 1) at level 15 but when I played DS2 I found that leveling up was (in my case) essential. Haven't played DS3 yet but will at some time.

Currently playing The Witcher 3 on "Death March" with the two DLC's (71GB) and having a blast. Nothing like going ...

The HD standard is 720p, 1080i and 1080p while the UHD standard is 2160p (4K) and 4320p (8K) anything else is scaled to fit the appropriate pixel sizes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wi... and https://en.wikipedia.org/wi...

Most TV's have an aspect ratio (ie. Width to Height) of 16:9 which is...

The following are gaming genres preferences around the world http://www.bigfishgames.com...

Note. The figures are over three years old but gaming preferences don't change overnight so the figures given would still be fairly valid.

Zelda Breath of the Wild falls in the Action/Adventure with RPG elements type of game although we could put the game in th...

Let's be honest here. How many people who buy a Switch will actually play it on the go?

Yes, there will be a few which is no more different than people playing on their laptops or tablets. It is actually much more convenient to play a game on a smartphone or a handheld if you really want to play a game on the go.

Portability is fine but I can easily take my PS4 plus power cord, HDMI cable, USB cable and controller in a fairly small bag and plug it int...

That is a catch 22 statement.

Basically, it goes like this.
1) People wait for the Switch lineup of games to increase by not buying the Switch.
2) Developers don't bother developing for the Switch.
3) go to 1)

Basically, you have the same problem that happened with the WiiU.

Blaster Master 2 came out for the Sega Megadrive (Genesis) in March 1993 so basically, you will be getting a remastered game. Personally, I preferred BM1 to BM2 although both were quite good games for their day but they could be quite hard so it is possible that BM2 remaster will be dumbed down.

Hopefully, if BM2 does come out it will have smoothed graphics and not the so called pixelated graphics for nostalgia purposes or at least the option of choosing.

Like it or not the average human eye can decern about 300 DPI (dots per inch) or PPI (pixels per inch) if you wish to nitpick. A 720p screen with an aspect ratio of 16:9 (HDTV standard) and a diagonal screen of 6.2" (157mm) for the Nintendo Switch giving it a screen height of 3" (77mm) which in turn translates to 240 PPI and most people with normal eyesight can see the pixels.although to be fair you also have to take the distance the person who is viewing the screen from and basic...

If you have been using the Switch before you attempt to put on a screen protector make sure you completely clean the screen and because the screen is plastic make sure to get an appropriate clearer and use a microfiber cloth. If you are not that confident take it to a phone dealership and pay them to do it (should not cost more than $10).

There would be nothing more annoying having bubbles under the protector especially in the middle of the screen.

I think you are in denial here. If the video is a fake then the people who did it need an award for the best CGI effects.

Here is a Youtube video of the drop test: https://www.youtube.com/wat... and to date, it has close to 880,000 views so the cost of the purchase would well and truly be covered.

Actually, in the presenter, "GizmoSlip" which is an appropriate name does ...

Oh wow, two million "worldwide" and you honestly think that will satisfy initial demand?

Personally, I would never pay a "scalped" price for anything but there are many people who would.

Why is this news the shortage of the Nintendo Switch was a forgone conclusion?

Unfortunately now the only people who are going to make money are the scalpers. https://pvplive.net/c/ninte... hopefully people don't pay for the absurd prices but some will.

Actually, for electronic devices, the failure rate can be from 2% to 5% depending on the complexity of the device.

For more information (warning some fairly complex maths) https://en.wikipedia.org/wi... but the bottom line is no reputable company wants to produce a product that has a large failure rate especially one that occurs within or even around the warranty period.

It must be ...

@XanderZane

For any portable device with a screen a "screen protector" is essential. Tens of millions of smartphone users can't be wrong.

If you are not confident in putting on a screen protector just take your Switch preferably still unpacked in its box to a Phone outlet along with the screen protector and pay to get it installed properly (any more than $10 is IMHO a ripoff).

Note: If you have already used your Switch and...

Skyrim is an action RPG since it has RPG stats that you the player can assign while Zelda is Action/Adventure and you can get powerups (Zelda games don't have RPG stats that you can assign). Do a simple lookup if you don't believe me.

The "Microsoft Tax" did work very well on PC's from the 1980's and even up to today although I very much doubt they could force their operating system on machines that were developed by other companies like Nintendo and Sony.

What if you are not using Chrome? There are plenty of other web browsers that you can install on your PC.

Personally, I would rather worry about Windows 10 which has considerable privacy concerns.
