I would say the cartridges are 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB which would conform to what SD cards are today. Obviously, the developer when choosing a card to put a particular game on would choose the card that is a little bigger than the overall game size plus projected DLC and patches. The greater the capacity of the card chosen the more it is going to cost the developer.
Tell that to the developers, not the distributors.
As an example, The Witcher 3 is about 51GB with the latest patch but if you install the two DLC's for the game the total size jumps to 70GB.
If you look at AAA games, in general, they can vary in size from 20GB upwards to 50GB and beyond especially if you add in DLC. Most second and third party games seem to be in the region of 8GB upwards to over 20GB with Indies ranging from a few hundred MB to over...
Not quite as simple as just getting a cheap card you should also know what the performance of your card is. microSD cards can range from less than 25MB/sec reads to over 250MB/sec reads so if you don't get it right you may download a game on a cheap card that won't perform very well.
It seems that the Nintendo branded SD cards are more expensive however it would be a good idea to find out what the performance of those cards are and get an equivalent SD card for a be...
The XB1 already has external drive support and the PS4 will have this feature fairly soon. That said you still have to purchase an external drive or in the case of the PS4 a larger internal drive and in all cases this is optional.
For games to run properly on either the PS4 or XB1 they have to be installed on internal or external drives since no game will run directly off the install media which in this case is a Bluray disk.
The Switch like the N64 going...
Let me guess, someone stole your sweet roll. 😉
It's a standard PS4 controller that is coloured the same as a Dual Shock 1 controller although IMHO it does look nice.
I suppose it's too much to ask for but does this game even have a story other than destructible environments which were also done in the Red Fraction games? Obviously, if the whole idea is to destroy everything without any thought to a story (if there is one) then knock yourself out.
Basically, Crackdown 1 on the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) was "Run and Gun" and had a very loose story. Crackdown 2 appears to be more of the same although to be fair it does have ...
Basically, Balthier is the main character because he says he is the leading man when he makes his appearance in the in the game. 😉
Well, Tales of Xilla is the only Tales game I have ever played and while I did like the game to a certain extent I found the combat to be rather a case of button mashing. In fact, this game deserves the top honor of being the only RPG I have ever played that gave me RSI in that I could not play any game for over two weeks and I have not played the game since.
Still, I have the Souls series, Bloodborne and The Witcher 3 to fall back on.
BTW. I did try the ...
Actually, the Souls games are more popular on the Playstation brand than on the XBox brand.
Try the following for fun: http://www.vgchartz.com/gam... you will see the following trends that Dark Souls on the PlayStation is more popular than on the XBox.
For an example, DS3 sold approx 1.85 million...
Using VGChatz since it is the easiest to get information from. http://www.vgchartz.com/gam...
Final Fantasy XV has so far sold about 4.30 million for the PS4 and 0.82 million for the XB1. Even taking the almost two to one lead the PS4 has over the XB1 it seems that the majority of XB1 owners prefer other type...
Sunset Overdrive was made by Insomniac Games who are an independent studio and responsible for games like "Spiro the Dragon series ", "Ratchet and Clank series" as well the "Resistance series". Most games developed by the company are exclusively for the PlayStation although they do on occasion make games for other platforms.
If you have played any of the "Ratchet and Clank series" and compare that to the "Sunset Overdrive" ...
Like it or not the gaming "trifecta" of Microsoft brings in money otherwise, they would be looking at other methods of generating revenue or just get out of gaming.
Sure the "trifecta" is a running joke particular with people who like to bash on Microsoft and to be honest I even do that on occasion as well. Personally, I don't dislike Microsoft, after all, it is a company but then again I have no reason to trust them either.
Warning conspiracy theorist!
If Platinum Games used funds meant for the development of Scalebound for Nier: Automata they would be sued by Microsoft and deservedly so.
An extra dungeon is nice but unless it really adds to or enhances the game it is rather pointless.
The demo was in a factory that was very old and populated with robots so I would expect it to be fairly bland. In other parts of the game (it is an RPG after all) I would expect the world to be much more colourful (note: English spelling).
I could not view the video that the article links too. The following is the video from the PS4 version https://www.youtube.com/wat... and I would be very surprised if the Switches version was any different.
On the PS4 the game is approximately 1.5GB in size and currently on PSN (Australia) it is on sale for $36 AUD (approx $28 USD). Actually, the RRP for the game (PS4) is $59.95 AUD ($45.95 USD).

Personally, I don't care but I have and still, own all Nintendo consoles up to the GameCube as well as quite a few games so I am not anti-Nintendo. I stopped buying Nintendo when the Wii was introduced and have not been back since.
It is important to note that if you have preordered a Switch (strongly suggest you do) it would be a good idea to check that your order has not been canceled to avoid disappointment. If you have your preorder validated then you should be ok.

The big differences between Battletoads on the NES and the Souls/Bloodborne/Nioh games is Battletoads is tough and unfair while the other games are tough but fair.
In the Switches case, you don't have to install the game if you purchase the game on a cartridge, however, you will need to insert that cartridge to play the game. Obviously, if you purchase a game via digital download you will need storage that the game can be downloaded to.
the PS4 and XB1 require you to install all games you purchase even if you purchase said games on Bluray media. It is also important to note that if you installed a game from Bluray you need to inse...
