Currently, right now the PS4 and the PS4 pro are the most powerful consoles on the market.

Yes, the Scorpio will be the most powerful console when it finally releases in approximately six months time but by then the PS4 will be more millions ahead.

As for games like Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2 all are coming to the PC running Microsoft Windows. If you have a good gaming rig that will most likely be so much more powerful than the Scorp...

As much as I would like to disagree it is almost inevitable that the next "Scorpio is great" article will be due out in one or two days. Maybe I should change that to "hours", Sigh!

Still got to admit those articles do help bring the Microsoft apologists out of the woodwork and the popcorn can be great but too much and it can be fattening.

>> It's on Wii U

Maybe so but like it or not the Wi U is effectively a dead system (ceased production November/December 2016) which has been replaced by the Switch.

One feature I did like in Dark Souls 2 was the limited (about 7 or 8) times an enemy will respawn. Granted this made grinding difficult but if you are a reasonable player this was a really nice feature since you could clear an area thereby allowing unrestricted access to others. IMHO this feature actually forced poor players to either "git gud" or just quit.

If a poor player can't "git gud" in Souls/Borne type RPG games that have anything from thirty...

Personally, I fully agree with you although I would not say no to a gothic horror Lovecraftian RPG using the Souls/Borne gameplay with extra features such as random enemy encounters and gore (not just blood) such as what you see in The Witcher 3.

BTW. When I say "random enemy encounters" I mean you can still see the enemy but they have more randomness in their movements such as more of them or even different types over the course of the day.

At least a vampire game has more potential than another zombie game.

The was a rumor of Capcom possibly making Dragons Dogma 2. I did like the original game but some of the quests were really boring and pointless. Even though the world was huge you did have to do a lot of backtracking and encountering the same enemies in exactly the same location got old really quickly.

Some of the treasure chests in DD did have some randomness but not many and that day-night cycle could get really hairy especially when you were first starting out which made...

A simple Google or even a Bing search will show you that Microsoft as a company can be quite anti-competitive with some of their practices being questionable and in some cases illegal (see the European Union cases). The company has also been fined over a billion dollars (USD) for some practices.

Want to check a recent (read still current) practice?

If you are running Windows 10 I suggest taking a look at the settings with regard to privacy. By default, al...

Actually, you have been able to cut grass in "Zelda: A Link to the Past" but not in 1 or 2.

Cutting grass is great for finding the odd rupee at the start of the game when you have no money at all but after a while, it can get pretty pointless.

While I do agree with what you said I should elaborate.

I don't mind DLC if it extends or even adds to a game I really do like such as those for Bloodborne, Dark Souls 2 and The Witcher 3 although I did get them for a considerable discount since I do have a PS+ account.

As for microtransactions well I will use Neverwinter as an example.

For those that don't know Neverwinter is a free to play MMORPG, however, they do have a fair...

When Sony came to market with the PS3 their controller the supported six-axis control which was effectively motion control. The PS3 was released on the 11th November 2006 while the Wii was released on the 19th November 2006 so Sony was the first to sell a console with motion control.

The reason why the initial PS3 controller did not support rumble was the fact that Sony was embroiled in litigation with Immersion over their patent. on haptic feedback. 3322d ago 4 agree6 disagreeView comment

Just do a web search using the following "dx12 vs Vulkan 2017" and you will get over 1.3 million hits.

I found the following video to be fairly informative https://www.youtube.com/wat... basically you just need to make up your own mind which is the better but before you watch the video you need to be aware that DX12 is proprietary software that will only work on Windows 10 while Vulcan is a...

The article states that "While PlayStation 4 Pro may have received a lukewarm reception from gamers due to low sales figures." Numbers would be a useful arguing point here but so far I have not seen the numbers.

At this moment in time, the total sales of the Scorpio to date are zero you really can't get much lower than that before going into negative numbers.

I wonder how many of these types of articles we are going to get until the Scorpio or whatever Microsoft decides to call it comes out?

3322d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Yes, yes we all know the Scorpio or whatever Microsoft decides to call it will be more powerful hardware wise than the PS4pro but at the moment the PS4pro is still the most powerful console until the Scorpio releases later this year.

What is going to be interesting is the Scorpio's price and games.

@mark_parch

Well, I for one did not click on the article (it's click bait after all) and as far as the raw power we all know the Scorpio is more powerful than the PS4pro on paper but at this moment in time, the PS4pro is still the most powerful console until the Scorpio makes an appearance later this year.

When the Scorpio becomes available it will sell but will it sell more than the PS4pro which will have been out more than a year and will be cheaper...

Basically, if there is a vent or inlet for airflow on an electronics device most roaches (they come in different sizes) can get in. As for an infestation that does not have to happen in your home, it can be in a badly sealed garbage bin or composter or just a dirty home somewhere in your neighborhood.

Cockroaches have wings and therefore can fly. You can only reduce them but not entirely.

It may come as a shock to you but cockroaches have wings and they are pretty good fliers.

Basically, if you live near a house, apartment etc that has a cockroach infestation then at some stage you are going to get the odd cockroach in your home and since they can get in via small spaces you will have a difficult time completely stopping them.

Sure baits, traps and some ultrasonic (sort of debatable) repellents can reduce cockroaches but they won't com...

It's "etc" not "ect" but nitpicking aside I do agree with you.

One of my pet peeves with modern games occurs when the developer makes the artwork pixellated to give it a so-called "retro look". I personally don't mind old games that unfortunately are pixelated mainly due to the hardware and display systems of the day but this is now 2017 and displays can be 8K (look it up there are monitors of this ilk available now).
