I think you mean recompiling not reprogramming.
From what I can gather and I quote from a Google search:
"Microsoft announced Xbox One backward compatibility at E3 2015 and started rolling out the function on November 12, 2015. Xbox 360 discs do not play natively but trigger a download of a compatible file, while downloadable titles tied to the logged-in user account appear automatically. Dec 18, 2017"
So basically you can'...
I have asked this before and I will ask again.
If you know of any reputable statistical site which covers games and console hardware that is not locked behind a paywall please share.

Like it or not politics does affect your everyday life. This is why once you reach the voting age (assuming you live in a democracy) you should have at least a working knowledge of how your government works and not be complacent preferring to pick the political party or politician that will benefit you or your community. In other words be a "swinging voter".
Actually, the so-called "swinging voter" is despised by the mai...
If you have not played a Souls game before then be prepared to die a lot that is part of the learning process however some people don't like citing "reasons". 😎
If the PS5 has x86_64 architecture like the PS4 then the PS5 will be backward compatible and it is possible that in the early stages of the PS5 release that some games will still be able to be played on the PS4. This is basically what happens with PC games.
Sure a developer can build a game for a high-end PC but they would be very arrogant, stupid or have a poor business sense to not target lower-end architecture as well.
With regard to the PlayStation f...
That is not the point.
The person made the effort to learn how to use the Unreal 4 engine and decided to use the Uncharted 4 Treasury Courtyard map to gain experience.
I suggest you look at what is actually involved in creating scenes for use in games or movies to appreciate the amount of time and effort the graphics designer has to invest for little if any gain. Yes, I am aware of "asset flipping" but this does not appear to be that.
>> "Not exactly the hardest thing to do."
Really? Do you think you have the skills, artistic temperament and patience to do it?
If people or a person wishes to do something like this without any potential of making money then more power to them. Doing something like this does enable the person to gain experience and at a later stage, they could use this experience to get a job or better pay.
No matter what you do in life...
Rather a "straw-man" argument don't you think.
Do you know that having a lockpicking kit in your position can get you arrested unless you have a licence (eg. you have a job as a locksmith). When was the last time a lockpicking kit was used to kill a person?
Yes, we all know Climate Change is a conspiracy perpetrated by those 98% climate scientists because of "reasons". 😐
@gamejediben
I am ex-army as well and have been in a war zone and yes I am well and truly aware the mess a military grade weapon can inflict on the human body.
Do you really think you could have stopped that monster (I refuse to call those people crazy)? I very much doubt it since I would be very surprised if you carried a weapon on you at all times.
Sure "if" I was there and "if" I was carrying a gun and "if"...
Where is your evidence?
Oh, wait you watch Fox News? Then it must be true. /s
What is even more hypocritical is when those politicians send their "thoughts and prayers". As if that helped the people in that church in Texas and their families.
I live in Australia and I have always held that Trump was a Buffoon, however, my opinion of him has changed to something that fits a more colourful Australian description in two words. 😎
Like it or not what happens in the US normally affects the rest of the world.
No one with any common sense is asking for banning guns. What many people in the US want is gun control.
Pointing the finger at violent games, books, TV shows or movies and even porn is just p[lain stupid since all research has shown that they don't cause problems. Yes, I am well aware of the "Evangelicals" love to apportion the blame game to what they call "sin".
I live in Australia and I do have the right to buy a rifle or handgu...
@opinionated
Great so we need a "plain clothed Marshall walking around every public school". While we are at it why not a church, shopping mall, gas station, etc.
May I ask how much is this going to cost and in case you did not know there is a rapid response squad available they are called (wait for it) the "police".
BTW. I was last in the Manilla the Philippines capital a little over ten years ago and if you went to...
To quote the second amendment. "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
You would think that the gun owner would be part of "A well regulated Militia" but no the 26th Jun 2015 decision by a 5-4 majority of the Supreme Court ruled that the Second Amendment confers an individual right to keep and bear arms, and that the D.C. provisions banning handgun...
You are quite right in saying that but, if you ask which fist or second world countries have the highest number of gun-related murders then the USA top the list. https://en.wikipedia.org/wi... also here is an additional statistic for the US https://everytownresearch.o...

Currently, the XB1x is approximately four times more powerful than the XB1 (base model - includes original), however, all XB1's are part of the same generation and if developers target the XB1x over the XB1 they are restricting access to their game and developers are in the business of making money.
Without exact figures, I can only make an informed guess but I think it would be fair to say that the XB1 would be in the 32+ million while the XB1x would be in the 3~5 mil...
Many Final Fantasy games have been turn-based and (optional/switchable) active-turn-based, however, Final Fantasy 10 was turn-based only. This is not denigrating FF10 it is just stating a fact and I really did like FF10 so I am not biased.
There are plenty of RPG's that are turn-based for the PS4 and XB1 you just have to look for them. Of course, what I may like in a turn-based game you may not like and vice versa.
Personally, I don't mind action...
You can download selected remastered or native (via emulator) PS2 games for the PS4 and if you are not in a "must have" hurry you can get them quite cheaply.
The problem you have with PS1 games is the fact that many are very grainy when displayed on a large screen display (smaller displays are normally acceptable). PS2 games unless remasted and/or smoothed have DVD quality which can look blurry on large displays. Of course, graphical acceptability is player depend...
