@UnHoly_One
It would be stupid to think that 5 million NRA members would be responsible for this travesty of trying to push the blame for gun violence on violent video games however someone in the White House thought it was a good idea.
Like it or not the American voters must realize that many of their politicians are effectively bribed (strong words but what would you call it?) and in the case of the gun lobby many millions of dollars have been given to ...
You forgot churches and the politicians sent their "thoughts and prayers" to the families and survivors as well.
"But, but it is too early to discuss gun control." Say the politicians - waits a few days "Oh it must be violent video games". What next Rock and Roll? Oh, wait. 😑
Well, I do play Bloodborne and that pistol and blunderbuss are pretty cool although I do prefer Arcana to firearms. You still need silver bullets to use a spell though. 😎
@LiamKreptic
You need guns in case the government becomes tyrannical?
Oh please, that is a "strawman" if ever I hear one. Do you honestly think a so-called well-armed Militia could stand up to a modern army who has at their disposal automatic weapons, tanks, aircraft and even tactical nuclear weapons? The best you could hope for is that the military sees a tyrannical government for what it is and refuses to support them.

While I do agree with you money or should I say campaign funds/bribes are attractive to some politicians (young or old) who will put aside their ethics and quite happily follow the dictates of their new corporate masters.
It is even worse when you have religion dominating the minds of particular politicians.
I think the following Youtube video (2013) by Jim Carrey says it all. Enjoy.

Oh, you should be able to find the Fox and Friends commentary on the video it's hilarious and very relevant in 2018.
@ShadowWolf712
Body armor or not a high caliber bullet can still do serious damage and I am not aware of any body-armor that completely covers the head and extremities. The police and even the military are still human and aware (or should be aware) that a high-powered bullet to the extremities can maim or even kill just as effectively as one to the heart and unless they have a death wish the number one priority in any combat situation is their own safety.
Have you heard of legal "bump stocks" which allow some firearms to act like automatic weapons?
I have yet to hear of a controller killing a person but I am quite sure with the correct weasel wording and (of course) bribes (err donations) from certain lobbyists will show this is not the case.
BTW. The Wii mote which was known to break some TV's when not handled correctly. https://www.engadget.com/20...

Even though I am not an American I am well aware of the second amendment which is:
"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. On December 15, 1791"
Personally, I don't have any issue with this, however, language even with the best of intentions can be subverted or reinterpreted. The following is an example.
The whole idea of this farce is to deflect from the real issue which is gun control.
But according to the second amendment and it's interpretation it is against the law to prevent those nut-jobs from getting a high powered firearm.
"Ban guns and then law-abiding people become totally defensive". That is a "strawman" argument (and easily debunked) which is always brought out when mass shootings occur.
It's no wonder that the police shoot the "man with a gun" first then ask questions later.
"one in a million wackos". Well considering that the population of the USA is over 300 million that only leaves 300 wackos on the loose and we all know w...
Unfortunately "The Bible" in certain states in the USA is considered a science book.
Only 38% of people in the USA believe in creationism but then again 38% is still pretty high considering we are living in 2018. http://news.gallup.com/poll...
Yes, it is extremely hard to kill a real person with a game controller. 😎
The whole idea of the discussion on violent video games is really just a means of deflecting from the real issue which is gun reform. Afterall Tump and his cabinet would not want to upset the "gravy train" that is the NRA.
You can easily look up "violent games and violent crime" (gets 19.7 million hits on Google) and research show that there is no correlation. You can easily do the same for violent movies and books and again there is no correlation

Lucky I was not having a drink at the time LoL. 😎
@Silly Mammo
There is a new game that is being made by From Software, however, from the very limited teaser it could be a new Souls game although I very much doubt this since From Software has stated that they have finished with Dark Souls but "Hey you never know since money talks." 😎
It is possible that (again from the limed teaser) that the new game could be BB2 although I would prefer that the game would have a Bloodborne theme with L...
Visceral attacks also work but can be daunting to pull off. Make a mistake and well "you died". 😎
I actually found the Archana "Augur of Ebrietas" (found in the Lecture Building 1st Floor) to be an excellent weapon (requires an Archana of 18 though) that can even "one hit kill" some creatures.
I can go for hours in Dark Souls without dying and can easily get to Anor Londo at level 15 (I have seen playthroughs at level 1) but to play all the Dark Souls games without getting hit that is simply amazing.
