He is entitled to his/her opinions just as you are entitled to yours. Of course when you express an opinion in any forum or public debate you should also be aware that some people are going to agree and others can disagree some quite vehemently.
As for banning a person for trolling which can be ignored (ie. Don't feed the troll), I disagree although the one thing that IMHO should be banned from any forum is spamming (eg. Sending the same or similar message indiscriminat...
The so-called PS5 would/should have to be more powerful than the PS4pro so it would make sense to release in 2021 especially when you consider that 8K TV's which are available now but are expensive will be much cheaper in 2021. Of course, I don't expect the first release PS5 to support native 8K but checkerboard rendering at 8K @ 60 fps, however, 4K @ 60 fps native would be essential with HDR a given.
Backwards compatibility assuming x86_64 architecture would defini...
Consoles are mainly plug-and-play although most of the time updates are done in the background so you don't even have to be aware a download is in progress.
Once a system update is downloaded (PS4 example) you then have the option of when you want to do the update which requires a reboot taking about three minutes.
I won't deny that there are some games that are an absolute pain requiring a full download or full install via Bluray (max 40 minutes)...
That depends on the parents.
Basically, some parents do know about consoles and PC's while many don't. This is not to say that people who don't know consoles or computers are dumb it is just that they are more interested in other things.
I do feel that if you have a PC or console you should at least be aware of the basics of computing (consoles are still computers) and system administration. Unfortunately many don't know or don't car...
@Smok91
With regard to an update which includes a system or game update (first-time manual updates can be problematic), nearly all downloads are in the background so you can play a game while the download(s) are in progress.
If a system update has downloaded then you will be advised after you have finished playing, however, you have the option as to when you want the download to take effect which does require a system reboot of normally three minutes.

I call BS on a three-hour update for the PS4.
In fairness, it may be possible that the PSN server was down (I know mine was not) or the internet for the particular user was horribly slow. Normally a PS4 update for a broadband (up to 3MB/sec download speed) connection is about four to ten minutes with the time to actually do the update being an additional two to three minutes.
Of course, the most probable issue could have been that the particular person wa...
@Sam Fisher
PUBG is available for the PC and the XB1. It may come to the PS4 but there is no confirmation yet and the way things are shaping up with games like Fortnite a (free to play), GTA Smugglers Run and many others most PS4 players probably don't care.
It depends on the developer and type of game you are talking about. For instance, Skyrim for the Switch is 14.3GB and 19.39GB for the PS4 will give you hundreds of hours of gameplay if you so wish. You can even get a free to play game like Neverwinter (21.3GB for PS4) which will also give you tens to over a hundred of hours of gameplay.
Another game is "Divinity: Original Sin" which is a 7.27GB download for the PS4 and can also give you hundreds of hours of gamepl...
The choice of getting a game on a cartridge or via digital download is entirely up to the consumer. There are advantages and disadvantages to both methods.
Current commercial cost of 25GB Bluray is less than $0.45 USD per disk https://www.amazon.com/Valu... , 50GB Bluray is about $2.10 USD per disk https://www.amazon.com/Verb... Even 100GB Bluray (triple layer) are in the region of approximately $5.10 USD commercially.

According to the article Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness for the PS Vita is cross-buy with the PS4.
Give it two to three years and people will be talking about 8K @ 60/120 fps but 1080p is fine if you have a decent and consistent frame rate. I won't deny that a high resolution is great but in fast-paced games frame rate is more important than resolution. Of course, latency and response time play an important part as well but are usually factors that are part of the display.
Actually, 56% is an Ok or slightly above average game assuming you are playing with percentages properly. Unfortunately, I do think that many critics should go back and do remedial primary school maths and learn what in percentage terms "average" actually is and it is not 70%.
There is nothing wrong with an old game especially if you have never played it before and you like it.
I would say "most" but not "all".
Sure, critics may give a game a score for good or bad but the final like or dislike comes from the player and what one player likes another player may not and vice versa.
BTW. I have not played all of the PS4 RPG's to date although most of the ones I have played I rather liked.
Look at most of the Zelda games and they are all "Action/Adventure". BoTW is no different.
@343_Guilty_Spark
If that is your definition of an RPG then pretty well every game ever made is an RPG. Fortunately, there is a definition of what an RPG is and BoTW does not fall into that category. https://en.wikipedia.org/wi...

Storage is probably the easiest to upgrade however you may find that (Intel example) you need to change your motherboard if you change your CPU. You may need to totally replace your existing memory if you wish to expand your memory since most motherboards have four slots (some have two).
If you are into overclocking this brings up another set of issues such as cooling and power supply ratings. Of course, you also have to consider what graphics setup you want and a good grap...
The PS4 and XB1 require games to be loaded onto their storage media (ie. hard disk drive) compared to the PS3 and XBox360 which could play games off their optical media (ie. Bluray for PS3 and DVD for XBox360). Obviously, digital downloads required internal storage in all cases.
So far the Switch does not support external hard drives while the PS4 and XB1 do.
Most AAA games weigh in at about 25GB to 45GB (some much larger) while more upmarket indies are b...
Costing a display unit (eg. TV) is a bit pointless since it is possible to use a PC monitor which can be used for both your PC and your console. Sure the Switch has a built-in screen (6.2inch diagonal 720p) but then again my mobile has a 6-inch diagonal 1080p screen and I have access to hundreds of games.
Somehow I prefer a larger screen to play games on since a 6.2-inch screen is annoyingly small.
As for increasing storage capacity, I can increase a 500G...
