I fully agree with what you said.
I actually don't run Microsoft anything on my PC and all my software is free and legal. My OS of choice is Linux (Fedora 23 to be precise) and I don't have any problems working with people who insist on using Microsoft products.
While it is possible to run "Games for Windows" under a Linux OS I really can't be bothered preferring console games instead and this has always been my preference since the NES ...
Most people here have a PC of some sort but still choose to play games via a console. Basically it's a personal choice.
I don't have problems with the so called PC elite spending money to get the best gaming experience. Doing PC gaming on the cheap and you are basically just a want to be PC gamer. Serious PC gamers are not afraid of spending the money to get the best.
Handhelds are fine for portable and on the go gaming however that market seems to be fairly tied up with mobiles running Android or IOS (iPhone).
I you like playing on a handheld when you are at home that's fine but many do prefer to play in front of a large screen TV and this is an area where consoles dominate. Of course with the release of HDTV's with an android operating system you can play Android games as well.
I very much doubt the Nintendo NX will support 4k gaming although they may come out with a more powerful cpu and possibly faster and/or more memory.
To be really future proof they could support 8k gaming since 8k TV's will be commercially available in 2016. I think the PS5 and the XBox (whatever they want to call it) may support this.
No matter what the Nintendo NX specs are it can only be counted as a success if gaming companies support it and people buy...
With Corvo in Dishonored you can play the game without killing anyone except assassination targets or you could just go on a killing spree.
Saying Corvo is a mass murderer is at the very least delusional since the real person who is controlling Corvo who is really just a collection of "ones" and "zeros" is the one who initiates the action. Whether it is a knockout or kill depends entirely on the player's choice not the virtual Corvo.

I suppose the old adage "Kill before you are Killed" applies here. You don't have to kill anyone in most action games that feature protagonists who are out to get you except your game will be very short if you don't take them down.
The nice thing about killing in any game is when you restart the game all characters are virtually alive and well although usually not for long depending on the game.

For a start please learn how modern computing systems and software work.
To keep it simple there is no need for dedicated servers for gaming. You only need to fire up lite virtual machines and/or server daemons, with the number being started dependent on the requirements of each game.
As an example, say we have 20 gamers requesting a match (assuming the maximum players per session is 20) then all you would need is one lite virt...
Ok here is a simple bit of arithmetic for you.
Looking at VGChartz 3rd Oct 2015 hardware sales:
PS4: Difference between World Wide Sales and the three main sales regions is 45,194
XB1: Difference between World Wide Sales and the three main sales regions is 9,738
From the above you could state that selling in more regions gives the PS4 the extra advantage of approx 4:1 and would not disagree with you.
However ...
You are quite correct, however if I buy a subscription to something I want value for my money and not be bombarded with so called "must have" items that require a monetary purchase.
To me micro-transactions and pay to win are a worrying trend which I can only see getting worse.
King's Field VR, now that would be interesting since you really do have to look up, down as well as left and right which could be linked to head movement. Of course being attacked from the side or from behind would be linked to your controller. Throw in stealth like you have in Skyrim and Oblivion and you would have one interesting game.
A demo game based on the above would be a fairly good test of if you can handle using a VR headset. I do think that any shop hosting a d...
I personally did not like Enchanted Arms. However I really liked the King's Field series (only got to play 1 and 4), Eternal Ring and of course the Souls series.
The PS Move is supported on the PS4 and will work with the PSVR headset. How is this a failure?
All gaming entails expense. How is VR gaming expensive when no games are available yet?
The PS Move can also be used with the PS4 and with the PSVR so it has plenty of life left in it yet.
If you think along the lines of getting a personal large screen HDTV that is 1080p, 120Hz refresh rate and can support up to 120fps then $400 to $500 is a steal.
If you are also a "serious" PC gamer, I very much doubt you would have spent less than $300 on your graphics card or a monitor for that matter.
That said, VR is definitely one item you really need to try before you buy since you may find that you cannot handle a VR headset due to possible p...
Unfortunately there are many people who die even younger from many different causes.
From my perspective she died way too young and my sympathy goes out to her family and friends.

Actually wearing a mask is considered common courtesy when you have a cold or cough in countries like Japan so as not to pass the germs onto others.
In most first world countries and Japan is one of them the majority of children are immunized against the most common diseases, however some for a variety of reasons op out and even though those non immunized people are more susceptible to disease they usually don't encounter the disease since m...

In case you are wondering why you got those disagrees.
Basically the Wii could only output in Standard Definition while the PS3 and the XBox360 could output up to 1080p, so in effect the Wii was a carry over from the previous generation and we all know which console won that.
No one will deny that the Wii outsold the PS3 and the XBox360 but not collectively. First party games on the Wii also sold very well but third party games didn...
Replacing your 500GB hard drive with a 7200rpm 1TB disk is cheaper and will also give your PS4 much better performance.
You could even put in a 1TB Solid state Disk and get even much better performance however your wallet won't thank you.
Yes, the popcorn is great as always :-)
