He's just saying that this a great accomplishment for the system (being that, based on the gamers AND critics, folks on the fence are more likely to pick the game up).
Besides, the game is tailored to the strengths of the PS4, so in a sense, the hardware is every bit as responsible for the output as the developers are.
1. Bloodborne will have co-op.
2. It's a From game, a spiritual successor to Demon's Souls, at that. Of COURSE it's good! :)
94, at the moment, actually!
The reality of extreme fanatics wasn't born with video game consoles and wouldn't end with their demise, either.
OT: Only advice I can give him is to follow the numbers/trends/history-making within current times. They don't favor his viewpoint.
I'm not one to throw out personal insults, but I generally tend to see this writer's name smearing PlayStation (and Sony) often enough that I expect it, now.
It's even worse when you consider all the positive word currently surrounding the PS4. The writer is either looking for hits (highly likely) or doesn't have a clue (highly apparent).
In all honesty, and with all due respect, you sound more defensive here than anyone else.
Seems like you've been out of the loop. Nothing but praise for this game left, right, and center.
I'm sure there is some restructuring happening, which that doesn't side step. People are just running with a rumor without doing research.
I wouldn't call anything desperate in regards to what's going on with the PS4. The system is a runaway success and Sony could very easily announce a game between now and E3 that will be big enough to work within the holidays (among others like a potential price cut).

That link (which was already posted above) shouldn't continue to be ignored. Kojima is NOT leaving Konami and all is well.
@ UltraNova: Run laps? No. Two 980s don't even do that. The benchmarks, in fact, have been quite remarkable for the Titan X.
It will hurt Dark Souls II MORE than any injury to Bloodborne. Beyond that, it can't be a "clone" when it comes from the same team. It's, in actuality, a spiritual successor to Demon's Souls - which is what original Souls fans asked for.
OT: Just a week left!
How does one draw such a conclusion? 7.1B transistors vs 8, 12GB of RAM (that's 3 times what you get from the 780 Ti), higher clock speed (1000MHz vs 875MHz, as a base, to be exact, turbo is 1089MHz vs 1020MHz), a significantly higher pixel fill rate, and twice the ROPs. The only advantage the Ti has are TMUs (which won't matter much, given Maxwell's flexible architecture). If it stomps the 980 into the ground, the 780 Ti isn't even worth bringing up. The leap is substantial! ...
Indeed. I don't get the "it wasn't fun" stuff, either. But then, I'm happily ignoring most journalists and reviews, for the most part, regarding modern games.
The Order: 1886 does what it does well. It's not broken and doesn't feel too drawn out. About the only complaint I have is that I wanted more - which is what a game should always offer a player. The need to want to return/keep going. However, watching a game that isn't fundamentally non...
No reason to be disappointed about something that you don't have to buy and that will ADD to a gaming library. Not shrink it.
OT: Yes, an Uncharted Trilogy Remastered I would buy without a second thought. These are some of the greatest games to ever grace PlayStation, and some of my absolute favorites of all time!
True, but I'd say a little perspective is needed. First of all, that's 9 weeks of one year. The Wii proved to be a stroke of luck, while the PS4 is doing what the PS2 did, and then some, in essence, repeating and making history for PlayStation (this will be the third time a machine from that brand will utterly dominate the charts).
From that angle, the PS4 is just as impressive, if you ask me.
Was there an official announcement?
"I guess EA announced a sequel, so I could play coy and pretend I don't know anything about it, or… yeah. So we're working on a sequel. No official name yet, but we're working on that. That's the main focus but we're starting up a second team and doing some smaller stuff too. Small, exploratory, taking it slow! It'll be multiplatform."
It's in the article, my friend.

That sounds pretty clear, cut, and dry to me. This doesn't consider that EA has been singing the multi-p...
Most of their exclusives aren't really, "bleh". This is just the first, according to reviewers (many reasons I own the system), must have title for the PS4.
