Not only do I doubt a Fall release, I also doubt it is their last Uncharted game. In fact, they haven't even suggested such, so no reason to expect it.
OT: This is likely a place holder, but I'm thinking anywhere between Mar and pre-E3 2016.
If we look at one territory and ignore what could be for E3, sure, Microsoft may have the better holiday. Since it never works like that, not much is set in stone - except that the PS4 will dominate mostly everywhere, outside of the United States, for certain.
Lest we forget that Sony also slashed the system's price (a price it continues to annihilate the competition with, at that).
Things will be fine for the PS4.
As a PC owner of the game, you PS4-only folks are going to cherish this sweet piece of work!
Poorly executed? How? It did exactly what it set out to do. You're implying that it just didn't work, and that would be false. You saying "good riddance" also doesn't make sense, since it was a 100% optional program.
As for spending money on digital content and then feeling stupid - think on that for a minute.
It actually turned out to be much more than something, "just good on paper". For those of us that used it, Home became a hub of activity, games, and exactly what was promised - connection to other PS3 people.
For that, it was a success and I imagine Sony is ramping it up for a re-introduction on the PS4.
The key word is "still". Thus, he means larger, and he'd be correct, given these are the numbers from February 28.
"I've never played any of the Souls games".
That right there is one of the reasons you don't really understand it. The game does a decent job of lending a hand to newcomers, though, so if you decide to stick with it, you should be fine.
In regards to the high scores, the game is very, very well done. Beyond that, the Souls games on the PS3 didn't look as good as Bloodborne.
This generation has already seen some titles running in 1080p @ 60fps. EVERY game won't do it, but then, if that's what you really need, I'm afraid you'll need to go build a PC (something I have done and have no regrets).
I can't speak for the X1, as I don't own it yet, but the PS4 has satisfied my console needs in regards to visuals and performance. Can't really go wrong with my current combo, so the X1 will be icing!
Without context, this is an open-ended comment. 1.3m units at this point in its life doesn't have it too far behind its predecessor, for example. I'm not saying it is setting Japan on fire, but it's also lacking the kind of hardware movers that it needs to keep things moving at a faster pace, which will start to change this year. Perspective is key, my friend.
OT: Seems like it's doing okay, considering that market's seemingly declining interest in home co...
@ GMR_PR: Think on it for a second - if it aided in console sales, it was probably a noteworthy game, as was suggested otherwise.
I never gave any opinion of it, though, so calling it, "average", doesn't make it relevant.
Plenty of games, only on the PS4, are worth talking about and have aided in system sales (inFAMOUS comes to mind).
OT: I don't generally listen to Pacther much, and even here, he seems to be stirring the pot. That said, PlayStation has always been my own preference for exclusive software, so in this sense, I'd agree.
I don't think anyone is expecting it to reach Call of Duty levels.
OT: Seems like Bloodborne and Dark Souls II have helped aid these types of games going mainstream. I'm all for it!
It changes nothing. Trademark laws applied here. Sony always owned the IP. It will never be on anything but a PlayStation.
Sony didn't just publish, they OWN the Bloodborne IP. Thus, unless you buy a PlayStation, you'll never be able to experience it.
The real tragedy here is how many people will fall for it.
Simple enough - Sony owns Bloodborne. It won't be coming to PC. Nothing left to discuss, really.
Nah, same mentality doesn't apply for several reasons. First, From has been working with Sony since the 90s. They generally receive an exclusive (or two) from them. Next, Sony Japan also worked on the game, just like Deep Down with Capcom.
There will either be a third Dark Souls or new IP altogether, for multiple platforms.
In Sunset's case, though, I could understand it, given it's still owned by a third party. In this case, it makes absolutely no sense at all. It's owned by SCE.
So this shouldn't be taken seriously since it is, "artificial"?
I wouldn't say it's about winning and losing (though if we go that meaningless route, Sony has been, "winning" this gen, and quite handily, given the system's reception, market-share, and game library) - yes, the PS4 has more and higher rated games than its nearest competitor, believe it or not. I also wouldn't say, "yikes", to a system that, at the very least, is being supported by its manufacturer and third party developers in a way that no other machine ...
Both furthered tried and true formulas and both were, very much, video games. The Order didn't "pretend" to be something it wasn't. From the get-go, the game reminds you that it is a cinematic experience. People just wanted it to be something other than it was.
Thus, it wasn't judged on the sum of its parts. Not only was it, about, as polished as I've ever experienced from a video game, The Order worked, had an interesting story, and brilliantly set ...
