Always brings that pic to mind and I totally agree with you!
OT: Uncharted usually impresses me the most in this genre, but I must say, I miss the old Tomb Raider games. Underworld, for example, was simply fantastic! I'm not a big fan of the changes, but then, I get them. The c...
It shouldn't require anyone to spoon feed the differences between this and SFV to you. No one argued whether both were business calls or not. That doesn't change what I said nor the facts in either case. No, they AREN'T the same thing.
Whenever in doubt, Google is your friend.
There were actually plenty when it was first announced as PS4/PC only. However, unless you've been living under a rock, the differences in business decisions are aplenty, and thus, it's pointless to mention.
Definitely agree here. Tomb Raider 2013 was a great game in its own right. However, it didn't feel anything like past Tomb Raider games, and thus, was a poor Tomb Raider game.
That said, I'm still looking for to ROTR, and will have an X1 for it when it launches (can't miss Halo 5), but I don't imagine X1/360 exclusivity lasting beyond a year.
@ Snookies: Which is irrelevant.
@ Bruno: Hence why I used the word: "also". Yes, there are at least two cards that can manage +60fps under those conditions.
The Titan X can also manage +60fps Ultra with Hairworks enabled.
Glad to hear they're still keeping Killzone in mind! Love that series!
Um, why? What they've shown, so far, is absolutely brilliant and it's gotten nothing but praise.
Naughty Dog is busy with their current project, which is also brilliant. Best of both worlds.
"Much higher rated exclusives"
I sometimes wonder why you blindly post this stuff. The highest rated exclusive between the X1 and PS4 is Bloodborne and the highest rated PS3 exclusive(s) were higher than the 360's. Where are you getting your info from?
And I won't even bother to chat about the rest of the post, since it is so partial.
There's quite a sizable difference between the Call of Duty/Assassin's Creed (funded ENTIRELY by their publisher) situations and what Sony is doing here. This is basically another Street Fighter V, where the game may not exist, had it not been for Sony.
I also never stated that Shenmue III was, somehow, "Sony's property."
When Sony partners with a company, said game(s) generally are PlayStation exclusive or PlayStation console exclusive. Indies are a rare example to the contrary. This is Shenmue III, however.
Yep, lifetime PC and PS4 only (as I'm expecting with FFVII Remake, as well.
Most of its sales will be from Japan (in fact, much like Kingdom Hearts). No surprise its PS4 exclusive and I expect plenty more.
Agreed, which makes the most sense anyway, given it will sell better on PS4 than anything else and the PC crowd seems to compliment that, as well.
People are kidding themselves if they don't see how Sony will grab so many additional console sales with FFVII Remake releasing on PS4 first. It could.....
A. Be 1 year of exclusivity
or
B. Release on PC instead of anything else.
or BOTH.
Either way, it's a massive win for the console. Period.
No other platforms were mentioned. Thus, it could be PS4/PC for all you know. Best not to call people names when you don't even have the full story.
OT: HOT DAMN! What an E3!
@ Kenshin: If the average person was on these boards, I'd agree. People on the net (the folks commenting and submitting petitions), however, should certainly have been aware.
The petition was certainly pointless. Makes me wonder why people didn't just seek out the info that Bloodborne was 1st party IP.
@ zigguercat: This has already been discussed. They've never mentioned an Xbox One version. Only PS4 and PC (the latter excites them because of mods and the like), while Sony has made them feel like they can create the game they want to create on PS4.
OT: Can't wait for this!
Well put!
