Yes, I've only ever seen Sony stuff leaked.....wait a minute.....
This close to E3, plenty of leaks are bound to happen (some already have, from other camps than Sony). Perspective is key. Besides, if you read the tweet, you would have seen that this was a mere few hours early. So it was going to be announced at some point on the 4th anyway.
OT: Back to relevance.....this Remaster just needs a date. I was sold on the first 2014 rumors about this!
Plenty of games out worth buying. Lines like this ALWAYS strike me as nonsense, in fact.
OT: I haven't been big on the Fallout games since 3, but this trailer piqued my interest!
Unless you've actually built a rig of such a caliber, you wouldn't really understand. It's like claiming a certain food taste bad without actually having it yourself.
In such a case for 1440p, I, myself, have a rig capable of it without even cracking a minor sweat, but then, I also don't just game on my PC.
@ CaptainTom: It's always good to read the punctuation very closely. I said, "use of magic >,< women". The comma is the key element.
To the point, the women in The Witcher are much more attractive (The Elder Scrolls has always struggled with this, outside of mods) and engaging to the story. They feel more alive and important to the storyline, here.
In terms of overall WRPGs, yes, I'm with you. Oblivion REMAINS the King!
My sentiments, exactly. I much prefer The Witcher III's story, use of magic, women, and traveling system (yes, Roach is badass and moves very quickly).
Thus, it's 2015, and The Witcher III is the best RPG I've played in ages.
That's outdated. On the main site, it's already 10 million ahead of the X1 (and that's still with missing data - it's only up to May 16).
I expected Phil to announce this. Just doesn't make sense for them, or Konami.
If nothing else, I would expect Sony to pick it up.
With as much replay value as the game promises? Hardly.
OT: I'm glad Sony continues to support these unique experiences! Even happier now that we have a date!
@ OCEAN: Thank you.
Sorry, it was pre-ordered long ago (and certainly much earlier than this article's submission).
It's that the article is all bad, but these pieces telling people what to/what not to pre-order have already outstayed their welcome, in my eyes.
People expect the final game to look as good as, at the very least, or BETTER, than the initial reveal. I don't see what's so wrong with that, since that is always how it's been.
That said, the final game looks fantastic (I'm fortunate enough to be able to max it in all of its glory), but SOME gamers just like clarity. Yes, there's the bunch that will whine about any and everything. But then, they don't represent the entire gaming community.
I highly doubt it will, "get killed by reviewers". In fact, each preview is nothing but positive and gamers who've played it at shows mirror that sentiment.
I expect the exact opposite.
OT: My most anticipated game this year! Finally a date!
The Witcher III is definitely not the best looking game on console, and on PC, it fights with other open world games. Takes nothing from the quality of the game or how much you may enjoy it (I, myself, cherish what I've played so far), but then, that wouldn't apply here.
@ Septic: Quite frankly, based on your needlessly aggressive attitude, YOU appear to be the one that cares so much! I really don't see what he said that was so wrong.
OT: Interesting, though a combined total of 110 million by 2019 might be a tad low, given the PS4 should have most of that on its own by then. I'd lean closer to 120 million.
It's amazing. Had they NOT delayed it and the game launched with plenty of issues, the same folks would claim that it was "rushed" and a "bad game". Go figure.
OT: Look forward to whatever you have, Naughty Dog! You've yet to let me down!
Yep, same boat as you. Ready! Two SuperClocked Titan X's, the 5960X, and 32GB of RAM.
If the PS3's limit had been 100% reached, you wouldn't have seen better games than Uncharted 2. That is not what maxed out means. Its RESOURCES can't be pushed any further, but the engine code can be modified in a way that would allow for optimization (as plenty on the PS3 proved). The Naughty Dog 2.0 engine had reached its limit on the PS3, but there was still enough juice to make games look and run better after Uncharted 2 released.
The engine, to that point, wa...
A system can be "maxed out" and still show improvement, as he is saying (I'd advise reading beyond the title). Despite what Uncharted 2 did/looked like, God of War III, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 3, and Beyond: Two Souls looked better. Why? Maxing out a machine doesn't mean you can't make improvements in other areas.
The latter portion of the console's life had developers (as Hable put it), "squeezing out" what they could, though he admits, the...
It's pointless to even give these articles the time of day, anymore. It seems like this place has become a haven for "what can I complain about now". I miss when N4G was mostly a news site, many many moons ago!

It's even worse when the "journalists" of these articles can't even get their stories right. Naughty Dog isn't handling this Remaster, yet, Uncharted 4 MUST have been delayed so they could polish this release. >.<
