I wanted to like this game, tried it on Game Pass, but for some reason I couldn't endure the beginning part. However, knowing how much the developers are trying to improve the game, I think I should give it another chance.
Next year???
Why would they take so long to port a few Mega Drive games?
It should've been a same-day release. "We're announcing this collection, and it's available now". Any sense in creating teasers and making us wait for a few games that were already rereleased so many times?
How about Alex Wesker from Revelations 2? Although she's part of this "Wesker's family" thing Capcom started with Jake in RE6, which I don't like, I think she was an interesting villain.
Cool. I think House of the Dead 2 is the game I played the most in my old Dreamcast.
Can't say I'm too excited, though. Sonic Colors was said to be one of the best 3D Sonic games, but when I bought it on Wii, I didn't think it was very good. Never even finished it. I actually enjoyed Sonic and the Secret Rings more (I still want a port of that game - with less motion controls for movement).
Origins collections is good only for the fact that Sega finally seems to have worked out the legal things that prevented Sonic3&Knuckles to be released a...
Simply pointing out people keep saying things are free, while subscribers have to pay to get those things? Hm... No, I don't think that's looking into this too deeply.
"Sony is giving us access to an additional game to download and play at no additional cost!"
That makes no sense. If the service description said "membership includes X games per month" but Sony gave X+1, it would make sense. But the number of games is not set. So what would "an additional game" even mean?
It bothers me a little when something is offered for those who have a paid subscription, but that something is said to be "free". You're paying for the subscriptions, and the games are offered as part of the service.
Not even Sony themselves call these games free: https://www.playstation.com...

"since I never played it before."
This applies to a lot of people.
I think Capcom would make it big by marketing CV as "the direct sequel to RE2", saying things like "Follow Claire in her search for Chris".
As Code Veronica is the true sequel to RE2 and was created to be RE3, it saddens me that Capcom mostly ignores its existence.
Capcom will surely shut this project down, but I do hope they get that RE fans really want a remake. Heck, even if it was a quick cash-grab like RE3 Remake I wouldn't complain too much.
I also thought RE5 sales were just because of RE4 success, however RE6 also sold like crazy (although a little less than 5, it seems), so I guess people did like RE5...
Looking at a sales perspective, I guess it would make sense for Capcom to follow the trend of non-horror, action-heavy, co-op shooter RE. I'm glad the risk they took to go back to single player less action-heavy gameplay in 7, 8, and 2 remake were successful, showing them not every game needs to be a Call of Duty ...
Defending this decision is bad, and Nintendo shouldn't be doing this.
However, I need to point out the hypocrisy of gamers regarding Amiibos. Since they were first released, people complained that in almost all games, they didn't add much and said Amiibos should unlock bigger stuff in games to make them worth it. And when they do, people complain.
I always saw Amiibos as collectible figures, that as a bonus, unlocked small things in games. But people did want them to...
To be fair, the thought of keeping Sheva alive and still needing to give her ammo for her to protect herself but praying for her to not waste ammo, still gives me nightmares. That's one kind of horror, I guess.
Why did they make comparison images with no way to zoom in or open them in full size?
This is one of the things that make me angry about Capcom and RE7. At first there were rumors that the VR function was exclusive to PlayStation for one year. It was already bad, but ok, I could wait. But not releasing at all for PC? That was just a jerk move.
Especially since the most important thing to VR right now is to prove it has enough content to justify its price. Splitting the little content among different VR brands just hurts the industry and the customers.
And Cap...
"To clarify the above. $2.2bn is not Microsoft's final profit on gaming. That's just gaming software and services profit.
You have to account for the loss that Microsoft takes on hardware, so the actual profit from Xbox would be much lower (or even negative)"
The title of this article is just wrong.
It's easy. You like slow-paced relaxing games and Pokémon? It's great.
You only like action, fast-paced or "git gud" style of games? You'll hate it.
"I’d say the most exciting new feature is the pioneering aspect of the game"
However, clearing the farm's land is not really different from clearing the fields in the previous games.
By the title Pioneers of Olive Town I really thought we would start the town from zero, building stores and whatnot, and deciding on places and decorations.
However, the town is already there, and you just "pioneer" your farm, the same way you do in previous game...
I'm a little disappointed, By the title I thought it was an article about the known KoF flaw of making end-game bosses to be too unbalanced and unfair, and I thought the final boss of KoF XV was revealed to follow the trend.
Anyway, about King of Fighters: Allstar, I played it quite a lot when it was first released in Japan, but in the end it turned into a "log in every day, do daily missions in the morning and at night and forget about it", and rushing to try...
Oh, are starting planets random? I know randomized planets are like the big thing in this game, but I thought the starting planet was scripted. Kind of risky entrusting the first impressions the player have about the game to a randomized thing...
I think at least the first planet should have been carefully crafted.
