My peak disappointment with Nvidia was when they dropped support for 3D Vision. Comparing to that, waiting for a few more months to buy its latest GPU is not so terrible.
I wish there was a game like Factorio, but with less (none?) emphasis on resource transport.
I love collecting resources and creating items and whatnot, but I can't bother on setting all the belts and all, especially when a new item requires modifying a big part of what was already done.

From the top 10 Switch sold games, only two are Wii U ports (Mario Kart 8 and New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, while Zelda was a simultaneous release and not a port).
This comparison is great for me to confirm a thought I always had: in games, style counts more than realism. I see games that people praise for their realistic visuals, and they hardly ever make me as excited as games with stylized visuals. But I thought I might be biased by the games themselves and not looking at the graphics objectively.
But now it's the same game with different graphical options, so I can compare it better. PS4 version has oversaturation and contrast...

Uhh... It has "Remake" in the name... A remake is the same game using modern engines, graphics and (sometimes) mechanics.
They shouldn't have called it "Remake" if they wanted this to be an alternate timeline/pseudo-sequel.
Years ago I read an interview with a movie director (don't remember which movie, nor which director) about a movie based on a video game he directed, and that people complained about the many changes he made to the game plot, making the movie feel like a different story.
His answer was in the lines of "as a director I didn't want to just reproduce what people saw in the game, I wanted to make this movie my own".

Or Barry Burton himself. Capcom changes its character designs so much, that it wouldn't surprise me.
I loved much of Octopath, especially the graphics, the battle system and the music. The part where they let the ball drop was the plot. WIthout all "paths" converging to a big adventure, it just felt like the game was a prelude to something that never came. Finished the game with 4 of my favorite characters, and couldn't bother to finish with the remaining four...
Meanwhile, I know Bravely 2 will have good music (Revo is back!), good battle system, and I hope ...
I reserved 4 of those games (and considering two others).
It's funny, I should be excited about games from the new generation of consoles, but nothing there excites me. Maybe Resident Evil Village, but since not only I'll get it on PC but also it's following the steps of 7 and I wasn't a big fan, not even that would convince me to buy another console if I didn't have a gaming PC...

Hard to take this list seriously when the writer says things like RE6 being "a great return to form for the series" or call RE4's Wii controls which made it the best version as "weird motion aiming controls".
Although I do share the love for the two Revelations games.

But it depends on taste, really. For example, I'm much more excited for Rune Factory 5 than anything on that list.
That's because VIII's "opening" is not an opening, but a trailer. I even spoils some things. They should've limited to showing the fight between Squall and Seifer, not put random scenes with Rinoa and Edea.
For me Resident Evil is at its best when it perfectly balances action and survival horror. 5 and 6 went too much towards action, while 7 went too much towards horror. 4 balances those aspects better, and that's why it feels like a better game - from the post-classic style games - for me, even though in the final part it did steer a bit too much into action territory.
About the list, the fact that they didn't include Zero (a prequel, but not a spin off) and Code Vero...
Worst thing is: they won't refund the park tickets (although you can use them from March to July), and the Express Passes will be refunded, but how and when, they'll only tell us by the end of March...

I wonder if people remember that the first Bravely Default was supposed to be a Final Fantasy game (it's still reflected in some details like the use of "fire, fira and firaga" style of magic names, and the plot with crystals and warriors of light). Even though the mainline FF series followed a more cinematic and flashy road, I wish it had taken the Bravely Default route instead.
(Although I do wish the characters had more real proportions ...
