Don't ask me how I know it, but even emulating, My Life as a King including all its DLC is impossible to find. The base game does feel a bit lacking.
I completely agree with this. A few days ago I was in the mood for playing some Wii games like Final Fantasy: My Life as a King, and Sonic and the Secret Rings. But since I sold my Wii ages ago, unless I track down an old Wii and also find a used Sonic and the Secret Rings... or worse, I wouldn't even be able to get Final Fantasy: My Life as a King since it's a Wiiware game and Wiiware is no longer available.
They already ruined FF7 story, we don't need them ruining FFX's story, too. If the short novel released a few years ago (where Tidus kept killing himself by doing crazy things since he's basically immortal for being a summon, and Yuna tired of bringing him back) showed anything, is that they should leave this story alone.
A prequel with Auron, Jecht and Braska would be interesting though, as long as they kept a single timeline and respect the lore, and not the ...
A company releasing a mobile game for a console series always feel like a kick in the nuts.
I wanted a little bit more power, not necessarily for 4K, but for current games to run better. Games like Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and Rune Factory 5 run terribly. If a new model could squeeze in a few more frames per second, it would be a sure buy for me.
They made such a big deal on how this is a different timeline and how they're changing everything, but now they're using the canon to justify their choices?
I try to never touch any EA games, so I don't really care if they leave or not. However, I did think they would stay there forever from what I understood from their initial announcements.
I can hardly tell the difference. Had to actually see them side by side to go "oh, yeah, the new sprites have a little mode shadows and colors..."
I will keep my previous mobile collection, then. The graphics are not great, but they are not so bad to the point of making me pay $75 for the original sprites.
The only Bidoof I want is Rusty's Perfect Bidoof.
I think that's good news.
I hated FF7 Remake's Kingdom Hearts-like plot changes and dialog at the end, so I gave up on these games.
However, it really has very beautiful graphics. Knowing myself, I would probably buy it again on PC just to be able to run it as pretty as I can, 4K, high framerate and whatnot.
Fortunately, it being on EGS is a guarantee I'll never even touch it. So it's a good amount of money I save! \o/
I hope that, even though it's called "Get It Together", that it doesn't put too much emphasis in multiplayer. I prefer my WarioWare (or any other game, really) as a single player experience.
The thing is, if they'll keep the graphics exactly like in the original games, does it really count as a "remaster"?
Maybe "pixel collection" would make more sense than "pixel remaster".
Uhm... Is "pixel remaster" another way of saying "direct ports"? Or they just didn't show what actually this will mean?
I actually consider this good news. I'm playing the japanese version, and between bad framerate and bugs, I prefer for it to be fixed before being released in the west.
Great. So please release an offline mode so we don't need to see so many other players running around and killing the monsters we were supposed to be killing, if it's not really an MMO.
About Yuji Naka himself, I really appreciate him for being part of creating Sonic, but after I learned he let his ego take over during the 32-bit and threatened to leave SEGA if the american team used Nights engine for a Sonic game (since they were struggling to create one, for SEGA taking so long to send them a Saturn dev kit), I lost a great deal of respect for him. As a SEGA fanboy, I knew a Saturn Sonic was extremely important, and in the end we didn't get one (mostly for SEGA Japan i...
In my opinion their biggest mistake was making a game aimed at kids. It's different when something is made for all ages, than something made for children.
Because of that, gameplay was made too slow and simple, plot was too silly (especially the characters dancing parts), they put too many costumes that would attract kids but not deep enough to make adults think it's fun playing with them.
And worst of all, the characters we control are kids other...
This game interests me, but I almost never buy games on early access, since not even big companies manage to fix and change much about their games, so I don't think it's smart entrusting small indie developers to do that, and buying unfinished games in hopes of them making it better. Many of those games don't even get finished.
However, I'll keep an eye on this one to see if they can fix all the main complaints until (and if they release) the finished version.
I moved here to Japan, and couldn't bring all my past things. Even if I could, there's barely enough space in apartments here for my current consoles and PC, imagine keeping a whole collection of old consoles here...
