Vanille was NOT a bad character? She was a complete train wreck. People try to make up reasons for her "upbeat" personality, but there is upbeat and there is "OMG this girl has some kind of mental disorder, someone please shut her up".
The only good thing about her is that Square was able to tell a lesbian romance without being appellative. It's sad that one of them was Vanille. Fang deserved someone better.
No, he wasn't a ghost from the past. He was a part of the Fayth's dream, it doesn't mean that he existed once in the past and was dead.
He did say why he thinks each one of these games are overrated.
Here's what he said about Halo:

And he's completely right.
That's sad. I always thought that SEGA would stop the project, as it happened to every fan-made project until today. I didn't expect the developers themselves would be the ones to sabotage it.

I played Beyond Good and Evil a couple of times. Never understood why people praise it so much.
I think that any PC runs it.

I have the old Red one that came with Mario Kart DS. It's certainly uglier than my 3DS, but it sure is way more confortable to play. Playing Mario Kart 7 makes my right hand hurt like hell after some races. I never went through this when playing MKDS.
I wish Nintendo released a "gamer's version" of the 3DS, maybe uglier but bigger and more confortable, not only the "pretty but unconfortable and aimed for the mainstream like Apple ...
I really liked On The Road with Qore. The Japan ones were the best.
For me the only great thing that PSP and Vita have that Nintendo's portable systems lack is the ability to download full games. If the DS and the 3DS had it, I would buy many more games for them. There aren't many PSP games that I like, but I bought many games on PSN just because they were cheap (comparing to physical DS games in my country) and easy to get.

"talks highly" is a huge understatement. "reveres with an over the top passion" is more correct.
I hate these "you have XX% of getting its crystal". I'm paying for the damn thing, I want to beat it once and add it to my party, I don't want to have to beat it N times to do it.
Well, it's not like I'm going to buy any of these DLC anyway... I almost bought the Lightning one as soon as I started the game, but I found that you only have a chance to beat her if you're near-end-game-powerful and you may have to beat her many times to actually use ...
Too bad for you. X-2 is actually a good game, with a fun battle system, good job system, we can see Yuna a little more human instead of the eternal "white mage stereotype" she was on the first game, it shows what happened to many characters, and we get an explanation to that last scene after the credits on the first game.

Even though I'm not stuck with only company as my avatar proves, I always preferred Nintendo systems (after SEGA stopped making consoles). I bought my Wii way before I bought a PS3. I bought a PSP only after I played everything I wanted on my DS. I have a 3DS and don't see myself buying a Vita so soon.
With that said, I have to agree with Smashbro29. LX's comments always sound like someone making an audition to be a PR spokesperson for Nintendo. I'm never sure...
I agree with all the things in the list.
Oh, wow! This proves me two things:
1 - Sony has no good characters.
2 - Sony fanboys say Nintendo only does kiddy stuff, but when Sony does the EXACT same thing, it's suddenly cool (I'm also considering Wiimote/Move here).
