The mirrored world was only a "problem" to those who played one version and then the other. One who played only the Wii version, as I did, would never notice it. It doesn't change anything at all.
As for the controls, it seems you didn't even try. Aiming with the Wii Remote is a thousand times better, and flicking to attack is so natural that it became automatic and when I played Ocarina on Virtual Console (tried to give it another chance after I finished Tw...
Geez, it's getting ridiculous. Are people's lives so empty that they can't wait a couple of days? Everybody knows it's a launch peak and it's going to get better soon.
I hope Vita sells better. Competition is always good. But I can't stop wondering the look on the faces of those who loved to say that 3DS wouldn't sell anything anymore after Vita launched.
And the differences between them were...
I played nearly every Zelda to try to like the series. I don't like any of them and never finished any of them (including Ocarina of Time on 3DS). With the exception of Twilight. This one I liked and it's the only one that I finished.
Yes, it was. I started it 5 times, each time promising to myself "I will give this game one more chance and I'll try to finish it, people praise the character interation and whatnot, so it must get good at one point". But as hard as I tried, I couldn't. Removed from my PC these days. It's that bad.
Hey, LX-General-Kaos! I missed you! In every Nintendo related news I search for your comments to have a laugh, but these days it's hard to find any. It's good to see that you're still here!
For me all games that tried to be hardcore on iOS failed because of the controls. Virtual joystick is always terrible, and the games that don't use it are almost always silly casual games. Let's see if this game changes this fact, if its "it'll work just fine without buttons" promise translates to "good controls".
Great. They don't plan to make a PC version of the one game I actually want to play, but they bring us Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City (the scores it's been receiving say everything) and Street Fighter vs Tekken (I wonder who buys Capcom's first version of its fighting games, knowing it will get a "super" version really soon). If it wasn't for Resident Evil Revelations, I would have completely lost faith in Capcom.
I'll wait for the PC version.
I don't know about Infamous, as I didn't play it and I don't know if the plot twist fits the game, but the Star Ocean and the FFVIII plot twits were Awful. Yes, with a capital A.
I agree. I'm not a big fan of the hack'n slash genre. Hate God of War, dislike Devil May Cry. But I loved Bayonetta. Its mechanics are the best among its genre.
And I also loved the style. I thought I would hate it, but it was so different and fun that I ended up loving it. The dance scene was the icing on the cake.
It's a little sad that the only game I want from this list (in fact, of all the Vita games released and announced) is a port of a PS2 game. At least it's one of the best games ever made. But still... I'll buy it for PS3 anyway.
"Prepare to Die" is what The Witcher 2 title should say. I'm stuck at the first battles in the beginning of the game. I drink potions beforehand, I dodge like hell, and I still get owned...
FFXIII-2 was good. But FFs were supposed to be great.
And I played each one of the games on your list (except for KH: Birth by Sleep) and I couldn't finish any of them, they were all boring. Well, Parasite Eve had a good plot that made me curious, but the battle system was bad.
Actually, your list just made me realize that apart from FFs, Square never was a great game developer, even though I used to say that I loved it. I'll have to meditate about it...
Good quantity over quality list.
In Brazil, newly released titles cost 190 reais, that's around 100 US Dollars. That's why I love digital distribution, that way we pay the same as american gamers. That is, until they decide to charge us different prices. The prices on brazilian PSN are absurd.
5? I think you're forgetting the 2 DS games and the PSP one. And there are some for iOS, I don't even know how many - I heard about Rearmed, Recollection, but I think there's more.
Even if it has characters from more different games, you're trying to compare Fat Princess, some guy from Killzone, Kratos, Parappa and possibly third-tier characters like Sly, Ratchet and Jak, to Mario, Link, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, Fox, Kirby...
Can you honestly say that these Sony characters have more charisma and recognition than the Nintendo ones?
If it's like Diablo 2, people complain saying "it's the same thing!". If it was different, people would complain saying "it doesn't feel like Diablo!".
