I love how FFVIII fans keep making up excuses for the game's terrible characters.
I did not get the point of this article. Is he really saying that he doesn't like 3D because what we see is not really 3D objects, but a 2D image in each eye and he feels cheated? If that's what he said, well... I heard every kind of complaints about 3D, but this one is the most stupid of them all.
Following his logic, I guess he doesn't like screens in general, because the images you see aren't really there, they are just a bunch os pixels tricking him. He mu...
But there are already 4 Uncharted movies. You know, the ones where Drake is played by Harrison Ford, hunting for ancient treasures and whatnot... I think that the only differences between the games and the movies is that in the games they don't mention his fear of snakes and they ditched the iconic hat.
I played XIII-2. It's better than XIII, but it still isn't THAT good.
The game was too short, battles were still as automatic as in XIII, the crystarium system was confusing, side-quests were boring if you didn't follow guides (going through the same areas in different times looking for small glows to throw Mog isn't fun at all), DLC was released after we already had done everything in the game and there was no use for them (why pay to use characters/weapons i...
It's funny that the people who complain about the lack of a second analog stick are those who don't like Nintendo and wouldn't buy a 3DS anyway.
@TheLeapist
Have you ever played DSi XL? The graphics actually look better, even with this "bigger with same resolution" thing.
@jimmywolf
So you're saying (with a complete lack of punctuation marks) that you wouldn't buy the game (in fact, you pirated it), then you bought it because it was necessary to play with your friends, but says that Blizzard's decision is bad? You're the perfect example of why Blizzard made this decision in the first place. And you're also the perfect example that it worked - it made a pirate buy the game.
I agree. It's a power competition. But in this case, the winners are the one with less power.
PSOne was weaker than N64 and arguably weaker than Saturn.
PS2 was the weakest console of its generation.
Wii was the weakest console of its generation.
DS was the weakest portable of its generation.
It's still early to tell which will be the winner, but seeing how Vita is selling, we can say the same for 3DS.
Completely agree. My favorite FF is X, but V is the one that I played the most. Every few years I play it again. The job system is so addictive.
Yeah, it supports new ideas. The new ideas that its competitors have. At first Sony makes fun of these ideas. Then one year later, it copies them.
The best version of one of the best games ever made.
That's what I thought when I saw it on the list.
I would like it on 3DS. This game would really benefit from 3D depth.
Noobs only play with Ryu and Ken, so they don't notice the other characters.
It's more like "not enough game in their games". It's like they spend so much time thinking about how their games can look more artsy and the game part gets left behind.
After saying that making real towns in FFXIII would take too much time and money and that's why they didn't do it, do you really believe that Square will make a game with this quality?
@Shadow Flare
Your list is really misleading. Many games in there are duplicates (eg: Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time in 2005 AND 2006, Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2 in 2006 AND 2007...), in many games in there Mario is only an extra character and his name doesn't even appear on the titles, many games in there are only Virtual Console releases...
It's an awesome trailer. It's sad that we're in an age where everyone gets offended by everything. In a couple of years all violent games will have only white male characters. Because god forbid fictional violence involving women, black people, hispanics and gingers.
And then people will raise their torches and pitch forks shouting that including only white male characters is also racism and whatnot.
As you said in your first comment: in your opinion.
Notice that HE said it makes the low difficulty levels interesting. It may be a "time eater" in your opinion (I thought Diablo itself was a time eater, I start playing - in hadcore mode - and the hours disappear), but even the reviewer said the hardcore mode is a good way to make the game more interesting. My complainment is that he promised to talk more about this mode and he didn't.
And I thi...
I love how FFVIII fans assume that those who don't like it are FFVII fans. FFVIII is bad, but FFVII is even worse.
