I have a 3DS, a Vita and an iPhone 4. While I've been playing 3DS and Vita regularly, I can't even remember the last time I played on the iPhone.
Cross platform doesn't count. It uses each videogame separately, so even if you are using a PS3 and your friend a Vita, it's not any different than both using PS3s or both using Vitas. You are not using PS3 and Vita together as we'll be able to do with WiiU and its controller.
Using Vita (or PSP, for that matter) as a TV substitute doesn't count either. It's true that in some games you will be able to do that on WiiU, but what's special is using the ta...
I would be thankful if you told me examples of what else I can do with them together.
I have a Vita and a PS3. I still can't do anything that the WiiU can. The only thing I did with them together is use the PS3 to download DLC for PSP games and copy them to the Vita, because for some effing reason, we can't download it to Vita directly.
They may be losing fans, but are winning lots more. Just look at RE 4 and 5 sales.
Don't get me wrong, I hate the direction the series is taking, but Capcom is a business company and it goes wherever the money is. And unfortunately, the money is on action games. We can expect some horror only on spin-off games like Revelations.
"Improved Las Plagas enemies aren’t the only evil in ‘Resident Evil 6′".
Do the enemies in RE6 (which in fact include zombies) have a name like Majini or Ganado?
I was waiting for an announcement, but I'm losing hope. I played the demo on PS3 and it was fun, but not full-HD-60-fps fun... There are games that a higher framerate could really benefit, and this is one of them.
I'll wait for another couple of months. If they don't announce it for PC, I'll buy it for PS3 as a Christmas gift for myself.
Exactly, you only played Leon's part. On Tuesday I played just that one too, then I went to sleep thinking it was good.
Yesterday I played Chris' part. What a letdown... A squad backing me up, every enemy using guns... Not Resident Evil at all. At least Jake's part is not as bad as Chris'. They should dump Chris', make Leon's the only campaign (and longer to make up for it) and unlock Jake's after the main game, to be just an extra.
@reynod
And let's not forget mods, fixes made by the community and whatnot. Sometimes a game has problems and the gamers themselves create solutions before the developers. On consoles you don't have other options than waiting for the good will of the developers.
I wish we didn't have to wait too long for the PC version. I'll probably end up buying the console version, even though I know the PC version will have better resolution and framerate.
The worst thing is that I know I'll be disappointed with this game, but I'm a sucker for RE games... I bought RE5 for PS3, even though I already had the PC version (and didn't like the game very much) because I wanted to play the Lost in Nightmares DLC (I know, I hate Capcom...
@TenkoTAiLS
Brilliant? Far from it, my friend. They were... kind of fun. But not that good. Even the 2D parts in Sonic Generations had strange physics, the jump was off and the spin dash was terrible (and don't even get me started on the final boss).
As a character, Sonic will always be cooler than Mario. I was in Japan for three weeks in August and I returned with some Sonic stuff, but no Mario stuff. Still, we have to face reality and admit that Sonic g...
I loved the first one, but I have to admit that it didn't run well on the PS3, which is the version I played. The sequel, by being an exclusive, will probably run way better. I can't wait to play it.
For two generations, Sony had the weakest console and sold the most. On this generation, it has the most powerful console, and it's on third place. I guess this tells how important is having the most powerful console.
I was really waiting for this game. But when I heard that it's just a port, and because it's taking so long, I decided to grab my old PS2 disc and try that PCSX2 emulator. It worked like a charm. If they don't make some changes to the game (even if it's just on the graphics), and if it's not the japanese International version, I won't see any reason to buy it.
Bayonetta was the best hack'n slash I ever played. I loved the game and I usually don't like hack'n slashes. I actually wanted the sequel on PC, but being on Wii U is good enough.
That's why I think these HD re-releases are terrible. If game companies want my money for old games, they should make proper remakes. I was looking forward to Final Fantasy X HD, but I started playing it on PC, and now I don't see any reason to wait for the HD re-release.
Am I the only one who thinks that the narrator makes the trailer sound like one from a comedy movie?
Wow, it's been a looong time I hadn't heard of that game. I didn't even remember it anymore.
I loved Bust a Groove, too. Bust a Groove 2 is one of my favorite PSOne games. But I still prefer Lammy's humor and gameplay.
For me if a game takes more than 25 hours to be beaten, it's too long. There are just too many games around and too little time to spend more than that on one game.
Of course, there are few exceptions, like Dragon Age Origins and Skyrim.
