I don't know what your issue is with the Forzas.
I have only bought the standard editions. I didn't bother with the extra cars. There aren't that many anyhow. And Turn 10 gifts me DLC cars every few months.
To buy cars in game I log into the Forza rewards every week. Right now they are giving me 400K credits in FM5, FH2, and FM6 every week! (Amount is dependant on your completion level of Forza games in the past and present)

I love this game, but 9/10 for a remake to this gen is ridiculous. Especially when the original game only got low 80's on Metacritic.
I don't know how the same game all of a sudden gets 10 points better 3 years after release.
You have to remember that to Destructoid 7/10 is a solid game.
On Metacritic it is at 86 right now after 38 reviews.
I expected the game would be mid to high 80's. Most FPS just don't get 90+ scores anymore. It is rating higher than Wolfenstein, CoD, and Battlefield but lower than Destiny Taken King. There is nothing to be ashamed of in that. To me, that is a must play.
Burnout 3 never shipped on X360. If they add original XB BC maybe later?

There are only 4 new games (Not re-masters or ports from other platforms) going into our 3rd holiday season with PS4 and X1 that have scored 90 or higher on Metacritic. They are:
Witcher 3
MGS V
Destiny Taken King
Bloodborne
No new game is sitting at 95 on Metacritic this generation yet.
That said, I doubt Halo 5 will stay at 95 because too many PS fanboys in the press will slag it just be...
I think the issue people are having is that we have yet to see anything called "gameplay".
So, far it looks like Dreams is just a way to create movies. And if that is all this is, then it really shouldn't be called a "game". It should be labelled a "creative studio app".
I have absolutely nothing against this and love the concept, but so far I haven't seen anything that is a "game" yet. Nobody would call Phot...

To me, its all about the games over sales. I don't keep track of sales of vehicles I have bought. So, why would I track sales of my console that I bought? Really, sales are for fanboys not gamers.
What I do care about is games, and X1 has a good variety of good quality games that has kept me gaming all this generation so far.
There are a lot of negative comments in this thread about this change, but as an owner myself, I think this is the best change they can make.
To me gaming is about games, not console sales, so if they are making more engaged by providing me more games and services, they win and I definitely feel I win.
I hope MS keeps up the strategy of focusing on gaming and services over how many console sales they get. I couldn't care less how many consoles they sell ...

When did I say Killzone failed? I said it "failed to kill" Halo. Remember, Killzone was dubbed a Halo Killer. Fanboys like you tend to conveniently forget that fact. Halo continues to come out and continues to be a strong game.
TLG is made by a great studio, but being over 8 years in development is never a good sign for any game. And the E3 demo was pretty boring frankly.

Cut the SP and then dumb down the FRS for MP (Which is the game). How obvious does Activision's milking have to get before gamers quit falling for it?
They've made Call of Duty, Skylanders, and Destiny into yearly "sports" games like EA have.
The only game on that list that looks any good is the Action-RPG Horizon. Made by a FPS studio that failed to kill Halo with Killzone.
Meanwhile X1 fans have Scalebound an Action-RPG game created by the brains behind Bayonetta.
Both should be great games. But Scalebound looked just as epic (if not more) than Horizon.

Destiny is really interesting. Gamers whine and complain when publishers keep rinse, repeat, and milk IPs.
Then, a game like Destiny comes along where gamers are required to spend thousands of hours in it and are always getting new items, loot, missions/raids, etc. And millions of gamers buy it.
So, do gamers want new IPs or do we just want to play games like Destiny for ever and ever?
