Although I do agree with the fanboys part of your statement, these companies have to continually work to protect the security and performance of their network against all threats.
Any failure to do so is a failure on the company no matter what.
They did not say 10 million copies distributed.
They said 10 million sales.
Before making a comment like that please explain how you know that this included the EA Access giveaway version.
Even if it is 3 million per platform, please name the last major new IP that was exclusive to XB on PC that got 10 million new copies in sales.
As for the game being on sale at major retailers... Unless the game is named Call of Duty almo...

Where in my post did I say Sony would not license it?
I simply stated that Sony would not want to put "Microsoft Havok" in the title screen of its games... I did not say they would not.
We are in the third holiday of this generation.
Filling the spaces should be gone now.
Bluray and Havok are different.
To begin with every console has a optical media device so it doesn't matter who you pay the royalty to, you end up paying a royalty.
Havok on the other hand shows up in every game that uses it right at the front of the game. Do you think Sony wants to put "Microsoft Havok" on the title screen of their exclusives?
It is a really smart buy from MS. Integrate cloud stuff into Havok and allow third party game makers to use that engine (no matter what platform) to develop their games.
Plaster "Microsoft Havok" at the front of each game that uses it, and every time a Sony or Nintendo gamer boots up a Havok game they see the Microsoft name.
Grabs mindshare and positions their cloud stuff for greater success. Also, I am sure they will make sure the Havok tools w...
Would you rather be with gamers that like diverse games such as forza 6, halo 5, lego movie, tomb raider, fallout 4, fifa, madden, etc...
Or be with the people who buy the yearly CoD series, and just another Battlefield game disguised with star wars?
Translation:
We shipped a beta product to make sure we gouge the holiday rush buyers. Sorry, but we are just taking all your money, then we will finish development when we get around to it.
Don't take it person, it is just business, Activision business!
No campaign = No buy
(for me)
It is a sad day in gaming when we are told to expect botched launches of games.
I used to buy a lot of games on day one. Now, if there is multi-player I just avoid the game completely day one or if it is a large RPG. This seems to be where the problems lay.
I like that MS is giving gamers a lot of bundle options this holiday. Forza bundle, lego bundle, an elite bundle, halo 5 bundle, tomb raider bundle, etc.
Options are always good!
I don't know what you mean by that.
I have both 360 and X1. When I bought MGSV, I downloaded it on both consoles at the same time. X1 downloaded the 20 some odd gigabyte game and installed it before the 360 got to 30% on a 6.62 GB download.
Time after time I have compared X1 download speeds to 360 and every time my X1 wins.
Any reviewer who reviews a game should be reviewing the game. To just review the re-master is plain dumb.
As for me being a PS hurt fanboy?
Ummm... About a year ago I took my PS2, PS3, PS4, and PS Vita out to the back of my yard and put sledgehammers through them because the credit card that I used solely for the PSN somehow got extra charges for a flight that I never bought or took. Sony told me too bad... I told Sony I would never buy any of their produ...
So they gave Uncharted 1 an 80, they gave Uncharted 2 a 90, and they gave Uncharted 3 a 90...
How does a collection of all three upscaled to 1080 drop the game collection to 70?
The review does not take into account their past opinions of the series in any way, shape, or form.
And the exclusion of multiplayer is no big deal. I know of no person who bought Uncharted for multiplayer. This game is all about the quality of the campaign.
Even if the games are a straight port with no multiplayer this score is ridiculous.
Your comment is so baseless it is laughable.
For me, I was watching the demo thinking that Horizon at E3 set a bar that I wanted Scalebound to meet. Not from a fanboy perspective, but because I enjoyed the Horizon demo a lot and Horizon and Scalebound were seemingly the same type of game.
To me, they are both great looking quality games, and once they went through the gameplay elements introduced by Scalebound, I felt that both games are equals in my eyes. ...
When I saw the first trailer last year I thought this game had potential.
When I saw the gameplay from Gamescom it confirmed what I thought.
I just hope that they continue and this game turns out to be yet another quality Platinum Games game. Bayonetta, Wonderfull 101, Vanquish, MGS Revengence, Bayonetta 2... If the past is any indicator then we are in for a very good game.
I'm "burnt out" of collections and remasters anyhow.
Please give us new games!
I do not know anyone who is considering buying a X1 or owns an X1 that thought this looked bad for the X1.
There are many Sony fans that got angry over this, but it did not hurt anyone who is looking at or has an X1.
Same with Street Fighter IV exclusivity on PS4. I only saw hurt X1 fans complaining.
MS sold 80 million plus consoles last gen. If you add up all the PS4 consoles and X1 sold to date and assume that everyone was a 360 owner you still only have about 40 million consoles accounted for.
That means that there are at least 40 million 360 consoles still out there to be replaced. In reality more like probably about 50 to 60 million.
So, there are people that are waiting for reasons to move. The combination of Halo 5/Forza 6/Fable Legends/Tomb Rai...
