Next game, 343 should do a summary of events that put the context around the game. A short 3-5 min video would probably do fine.
The "scummy" business practices they employ are a direct result of not seeing revenues from pirated, rental, and used game sales.
All EA is doing is ensuring they see revenues from everyone that plays their games no matter what way they acquire it.
People seem to have a problem with them outwitting the used, rental, and pirated markets.
You do realize that MS has to keep two platforms of gamers happy right?

Sony only has to keep PS gamers happy.
Sony fanboys call exclusive anything that only ships on PS platforms because Sony only allows their own studios to make games for PS platforms. Microsoft has to make games for both XBox One and PC gamers so by their very nature they will have less exclusives by a PS4 fanboy's definition.

If you look at the first party lineups this year, and exclude downloadable only, re-makes / collections Sony was also blank for 9 months!
February and March saw The Order, MLB 15, and Bloodborne. August had Until Dawn. The rest of the year was first party downloadable only, re-masters, and collections pretty much for Sony.
Microsoft has something for September - December (Forza Motorsports 6, Halo 5, and Fable Legends)

I agree that bringing BC to PS4 (without hardware) is probably impossible. And I agree the decision to make PS4 an X86 system was also very good.
You can't fault MS for implementing something they knew consumers would like.
To me, it is even up... PS4 is more capable graphically, but can't do BC, X1 is less capable graphically, but can do BC.
I think the correlation is purely coincidence.
Personally, I think reviewers have been overly harsh on the major FPS franchises this generation so far. On Metacritic:

No campaign = no purchase for me.
I find any game that does not have a campaign feels incomplete. I usually hit the MP after I have played the campaign and get a feel for the game.

Agreed remasters are better than the originals, but if someone is simply looking to get a fix from a game they have sitting around, BC provides them with that ability without having to have both a PS3 and PS4 around and paying extra money to buy the game again.

Like I said, I bought the standard editions of all Forza games and haven't spent a penny more. I have been able to do everything in the standard games without an issue.
The extra pay stuff, is completely optional. Just like buying skins, weapons, characters, etc in other games Forza does not force you to buy anything additional to play, compete, and progress within the standard game.

Its funny that all the PS fans in this thread seem to be more interested in GT Sport being better than Forza Motorsports than the actual GT Sport game.
They say that when you talk about the competition it is because you fear or are jealous of them. Nothing in that trailer shows that GT Sport will be any better than Forza Motorsports 6.
And as normal with Sony's first party exclusives there is no ship date. Just the promise of a beta... It could be anot...
I have to agree, I just played the first mission and quite frankly it was amazingly fun. 60 FPS makes everything fluid and smooth as ice! And the size of the environments is absolutely amazing!
So far, I think they did everything right. The new mechanics add to the game and this feels like a whole new experience. It is the first FPS I have played this generation that truly feels next gen.
I have 2 x 4TB drives on my X1. 30% disc space now free but I expect it to take a large hit with the release of all the BC content (100 Plus games).
