I get that it is a patch that would be free.
But, I would much rather see those people work on GTA VI then patch a game that I have played on PS3, X360, PC, X1, (but not PS4). I have played through it enough that I want to see new content.
They killed the horse, now let ride a new one!
I really don't understand GTA V getting a PS4 Pro edition. GTA V shipped first on last gen consoles, then on this gen consoles and now people are wondering if it should get a PS4 Pro edition? With the amount of effort they have spent porting this game we could have GTA VI by now.
I want developers to put effort into new games not ports and enhancements to existing games that are years old.
I disagree. This is a brand new, more powerful console. Its sales should be in next gen console launch numbers. not 204% above 3 year old console numbers.

I have been working in computing for over 25 years and have architected some of the fastest computers on the planet from the ground up and worked with the low level inner workings of operating systems. It is you that has no clue about how devices work.
The overhead of any emulation can be overcome by fast enough and better modern processors through virtualization. And that is the problem with PS4 and now PS4 Pro. Neither are fast enough or good eno...
I would think that with the PS4 Pro, PS3 emulation should be much easier.
And really that is a lame excuse anyhow. The PS3 turned out to be about the same capabilities as the X360 (only a bit better). So it is more about Sony not putting the effort in then anything.
Not really much to talk about here.
It is disappointing there is some frame rate drops on certain titles. But, dropping from 60 FPS to 55 FPS is nothing compared to dropping from 30 FPS to 25 FPS.
I am surprised at how well publishers are backing X360 backwards compatibility!
Red Dead, Call of Duty games, Bayonetta, Sonic games, Skate, SSX, Mass Effect, etc. Diverse and awesome over the past few months!
Keep them coming MS! I love that I bought all my games digital when I could and now I can play them on my X1! Haven't turned my 360 on in ages!
The title is misleading then.
If you are going to write an article about the "state of brawl in 2016" you would think you'd have played all the major brawling games from 2016. Killer Instinct - Season 3 shipped in spring 2016 and has over 7 million players!
And Tekken 7 isn't coming until at least next year to North America. So it isn't really the state of brawl for 2016, but 2017! (Which you do mention is coming in 2017... but n...
First, why is this article tagged with XB1 when there are no XB1 games mentioned.
Second, Killer Instinct is considered one of the best brawling games now... Why was it not mentioned in the article?
Poor Titanfall 2 sales are to blame on gamers.
If gamers like the game they need to buy it.
The release schedule should have nothing to do with whether gamers buy games or not.
Or maybe people shouldn't be concerned about how many consoles their favourite vendor ships and just decide whether they want one or not.
This is essentially a sales article because that really is the theme of what they are talking about. I don't know how many TVs my TV vendor sold, or how many vehicles my vehicle vendor sold. Why do people care so much about how well, how well potentially, or how many consoles their vendor sold? I really don't get it.
You were fine until said, "like sheeeeit."
You may not like Nintendo but a vast majority of gamers like Nintendo. Their games consistently rate higher and are seen as better then both Sony and Microsoft.
It is hard to argue with these 1st party releases since 2013:
Super Mario 3D World = Metacritic 93
Legend of Zelda Twighlight Princess = Metacritic 86
Splatoon = Metacritic 81
Super Smash Brothers...
Really, really good ad...
But, I am just going to get a slim when they go on sale. I don't see any reason to spend an extra $100 for 4K (upscaled or native) when the games won't play any different.
Well that article was pretty useless really.
1) It doesn't say whether it is talking about current X1 or Scorpio
2) It does no spec comparison
3) The title does not match the content (XB is only mentioned in the introduction of the article)
I don't see what the big deal is even if the 3rd party controllers are copied from the XB Elite controller. All gamers should have the right to be able to buy good hardware. And whether MS, Nintendo, or Sony started the innovation, all gamers on all platforms should be allowed to take advantage of it.
How is this revolutionary?
Go an buy the Razer Edge Pro Gaming Tablet and you have a much more powerful device that allows you to play the vast selection of PC games through Steam and XB PlayAnywhere games.
I did not see a single feature in the video that makes Switch anymore unique then the Razer Pro Gaming Tablet.

Nintendo are a great gaming company I love almost every game they dish out.
But, they've gotten into a pattern with their consoles of creating different just to be different rather then doing what is good and being different where they can create value to gamers
As a base for a great console it has to have an awesome online network (social, gaming, and profile), it needs to be powerful enough to dish out awesome graphics, it has to have significant st...
And Sony has never lied about their stuff?
Seriously assessing any company on the planet on whether they lie or not?
Every single company on the planet lies.
I am not a big fan of marketing being news on this site.
I just bought a PS4 Pro. Downloaded all the games I bought from when PS4 came out. But want to get some new games.
Honest question though...
I was looking forward to Persona 5. Outside of Uncharted 4 what is the last good exclusive game on PS4?
And yes I know Last Guardian is coming (but I am going to wait and see on it).
