Games is the only thing Sony is doing so far this generation. And that is a very important thing but this is the only place they are truly leading.

Everyone gets it.... PS4 is outselling the other two consoles. We don't need numbers to tell us that. It is simply a fact.
I don't get why people ask if having BC games on XB no matter how great or bad they are, are worth it.
There are many gamers... aka Me... That have a large 360 collection and want to eventually finish these games they may have started and put aside or collect all the achievements. To me, I want every 360 game on BC so that I can complete them all.
People (as few as there are) with 4K TVs above 60" would tend to argue that 4K is required. That is why so many TVs were only up to 60" in 1080p. Because after that, they start to look like crap without the resolution jump.
I absolutely agree that from 32"-60" TVs 1080p is fine. Below 32" 720p is fine... But above 60" unless it is a really high end TV, 1080p just doesn't cut it.

If their little tactic gets them pre-orders that is good for gamers.
To me the biggest concern is that Destiny is an online only game requiring a network connection to play.
Gamers whine about being forced to play online, then they go and buy Destiny and this fall Destiny 2 in epic droves.
I don't see how Xbox One X fails.
It is a premium product for gamers that want to jump to 4K. And will sell solidly as that product.
People complain about the $499... But PS4 Pro is $399 with a 1 TB drive, a HD Blu-ray, and lesser specs memory/video capabilities. XOX has 2 TB, UHD Blu-ray, and stronger specs for memory/video.
On Best Buy United States I can find brand new xbox ones for $249, $299, $349, $399 and now $499. PS4 ...
Halo and Gears are doing just fine. Both great franchises.
Unlike Killzone which is in oblivion now that Guerilla is successful as the Horizon Zero Dawn studio. Halo killer died and Halo keeps moving forward.
It is not horrible planning by MS. Sony did the same thing on PS4 unveiling. They didn't have FCC approval so waited for pre-orders until later.

I have the appropriate 4K TV.
My favourite Xbox game is Forza Motorsports and it is coming out with a 4K version for XOX.
Also, my favourite cult classic game on 360 was Crackdown. And Crackdown 3 is coming in 4K on XOX.
I think everyone gets that there is a significant difference in the specs between XOX and PS4 Pro.

And now-a-days not everyone have 4K displays on their computers so people with 2K monitors are going to try and compare 4K images.... Even dumber!
I really don't think they are able to manufacture enough for them to sell this console to many millions right now. Based on the specs they wouldn't be making a lot of money on each console sold, so they are probably just manufacturing it in a quantity for serious gamers that have a good amount of disposable income.
