...Actually, your opinion of "The A.I and graphics as well as animations and general gameplay is also better" is HIGHLY subjective, since some people would rather the somewhat slow and clunky, "Playing a Western MMO alone" party-based gameplay of DA:O, instead of "Playing a Korean MMO alone".
Your opinion isn't objective, the graphics, in my eyes, are horrible. Animations? Stab something throughout a plate of armor with a GODDAMN DAGGER, woul...
"Think back to the Atari days, a lot of that stuff was crappy back then."
And we all know how that ended, don't we?
NIS, Gust, and many other companies say "Hi", bro.
@cochise313
Can agree with those three, but the key part of your comment was in the "only". That's why I didn't agree with you.
Now, you see, I know Reviews are supposed to be opinions, and I agree with the score, but there's something that bugs me.
And that something is the "Music" score. The reviewer compliments the tunes, yet I feel that score, alone, is quite...low, in an objective matter.
In a world where generic, "Epic", I-can't-even-hum-this, wait-there-was-music-in-that-g ame?! OSTs are the norm, I find soundtracks like the ones in Ar Tonelico to be...
Ar Tonelico and Yakuza 4 for me.
As Starhawk commented, Catherine released last week- and in that week alone, it surpassed Atlus' lifetime expectations.
Moreover, I want actual numbers!
However, for what it seems, looks like D4 did okay, if not well enough.
Will you take quantity over quality, though, or will it be the other way around?
I'd obviously take the latter, myself, even when I've yet to pick up Bulletstorm thanks to a lack of budget.
Dark Souls, Tales of Graces F, The Witcher 2 and Ar Tonelico are priorities for me.
I'd like to jump right straight into Skyrim, yet I feel like I should wait for the inevitable GOTY edition.
No.
Pay your 400$ for that physical copy, you!
...Or pirate the game, for the matter.
Whoa, whoa, way to pass judgement on a game YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED, dude.
I haven't disagreed with you, but I'll tell you why I'm kind of exited for it:
It's mainly the premise, and the fact that I usually love games developed by the Persona team. I mean, the whole kind of Jung-esque SYMBOLIC things seen usually throughout their games, regarding the main character's psychological state, as well as deities, demons and whatnot; it's alwa...
It's not as that kind of point-and-click visual novels are new, though, it's just that some of them found a nice home on the DS, big enough to make them more than a little niché as they are in the PC market.
However, Nintendo DID mention that not every game would, nor will, have 3D, so I believe some developers will keep on doing that style of aesthetic.
If I'm not wrong, the announcement said "Coming Soon to North America" for ToGF. Emphasis in "North America".
So, yeah.
Pre-ordered.
Aww, yeah!
@Twizlex
"FPS great is like RPG mediocre".
Yeah, because being a certain:
-Guy from an organization
-Guy with some kind of power
-Guy related to Big Bad [Not revealed yet in the game]
Helping three factions/races/cities and meeting his party members, doing quests that consist of Collecting X Y and taking them from Point A to Point B, when then, he has to:
-Save the ...
You selfish bastard!
Allow me to disagree, Kon.
If anything, I'd take a new spin-off or another SMT over Persona.
@Istanbull
"exclusive on the PS3"
Doubt that will happen, however, I agree. Hell, I'd be more than happy with a Strange Journey HD remake, or, as I said, another spin-off, perhaps kind of like DDS.
@zootang
Because the market has changed, for one. There's a better reception of ...
"whens the last time atlus didnt bring one of there games"
Grammatical failures aside (God, my eyes...Are you sure you aren't doing that on purpose?), they didn't bring Tokyo Mono Hara Shi: Karasu no Mori Gakuen Kitan over.
It's not lack of polish, it's apparent lack of consistency. However, I can't really say much, as it's only my first impression on the game. I need to see more before passing judgement on it.
"Elitist asshole like myself".
Definition provided.
Considering Killzone isn't supposed to be funny, yeah.
...But then again, "HOW DARE HE BRING DOWN GLORIOUS KILLZONE?!" comments will flood the section, as if people lacked one of the most common human traits: LOGIC.
@ScentlessApprentice7
Look at Killzone 3.
Tell me that game has any, ANY intention to be FUNNY in the first place.
In the "literal sense of the word"; "Logic examines ...
