While this is indeed impressing, I must say, taking in account other videos, I'm afraid tools won't be what they're hyped up to be...
Well, it IS just a Beta indeed, but I'm just saying.
Sprites are harder to make and to run off in new consoles. Even more when you have to make HD sprites and you have the chance to make easier 3D models.
Meh, I miss sprites.
...I wouldn't call the combat in that one "Deep" at all.
Completly agree. Too bad the game isn't getting much attention by now- it looks great.
But hey, a good cause is a good cause, ignoring the motives behind it.
No Capcom engine, no DLC, and no over-complicated tacked-on RPG mechanics?
Good. None of those are needed.
These guys even grab Naruto games and make them good.
Might know 'em as well for their .hack// games. Good stuff.
There's a demo out for you to judge if you like Enslaved or not.
Me? I did not like it.
Weak gameplay overall. Wasn't that interesting. Felt like Uncharted 2: Press a button to beat shit up with no depth or skill whatsoever: The Game
Gameplay had no depth whatsoever.
An one button combo masher, just like Heavenly Sword.
God, I swear, Ninja Theory should learn how to make in-depth core gameplay.
Perhaps, DLC?
Either way, dogs are bros.
MGS4 was LOLNANOMACHINES while getting rid of the Stealth gameplay.
I wouldn't use it as an example of "Good quality".
MGS3, instead, would've been a better example.
Thing is, JRPGs are a niche genre. Love them or hate them, bro.
Not including the Gamecube or the Dreamcast?!
What is wrong with you?
...No.
Link has a FF:CC picture.
So, Hey, hey, Square Enix.
What if you grab FF:CC.
Upgrade the graphics (But please, OPTIMIZE IT)
Put an open world
And keep the dungeons and items.
Don't even bother with a leveling system, keep the artifacts system.
And make it online...
With the same combat, just skill hotkeys...
...And you have a perfect MMO!...
The game, while doesn't looks technically impressive, still looks damn good.
Thing is, it depends on how they execute said ideas.
While a game based on the same themes than the movie would be VERY cool, when they had the tools to do something in the movie and they didn't do it, I feel than this game would be no different than an average First Person/Third Person Shooter.
I believe someone that uses proper grammar would have better chances of "understanding" a movie you could understand, bro. First off, you should learn how to type.
Plus, if the plot isn't made clear in 2 hours of screentime, you could call that a failure in delivering a good, clear experience.
Oh, and let's not forget than the human mind is capable of more than simple guys with guns.
If you wanted to see a good movie, you sh...
I don't know, it seems than so far the tools aren't as flexible as they could be.
It's like they grabbed a platformer and got some SF powers or ZoE mechs.
...Since when anyone said anything about this being a "GOW3 killer"?
Also, I find this game somewhat appealing, in fact, more appealing than God of War 3. Although I doubt I'll buy it Day 1, since my October is reserved for Vanquish.
Even so, I do hope the gameplay differs from God of War, and instead tries something else, something with a greater depth.
