I wonder if they'll still keep the option for the higher difficulty setting, though.
Heh, hilarious that they actually had to resort to making a patch.
It was an exemplary attempt on doing shallow, pretendious bullshit with a few tricks to try to fakely move you.
A victimized, standard family, including a kid? Check.
Piano music? Check.
It's designed to be that way, to make you feel like "OMG I FEEL SORRY BOUT THEM". The usual, common fellow will be able to identify with those characters, let us not mention that our perception recognizes children as poor, immature, innocent cre...
It is indeed a mistake, and Yakuza's exclusive for a reason:
Its target fanbase is in Japan, having only a little following here in the West. Hell, that was the reason SEGA doubted in localizing Yakuza 3 so much. From a business viewpoint, porting the game to a console where it's unknown if it'll succeed or not is quite...risky. And SEGA doesn't have much faith in Yakuza as a big-name series here in the West, so the logical conclusion would be the following: W...
Y'know, calling Yahtzee an "one-trick pony" is like saying Charlie Brooker is that, as well: It's completly missing the point.
He's a reviewer that uses satire for his videos, not a typical comedian.
Yes, around next month.
Well, I can see why people would feel...confused? about the title, however, I myself like it.
Oh, this reviewer sounds like one of my childhood friends when playing videogames together:
"Dude skip the talking there's too much talking!"
I don't think that what the reviewer calls "Endless swathes of pointless dialogue" is necessarily a bad thing, but more of an opinion. More than a few people actually LIKE mindless character interaction and chatter, myself being an example of that.
This is a pretty subjective...
To sum it up nicely:

PCSX2.
That is all.
...You know what? I won't even bother.
I'll just say the following:
This game is multiplatform, you silly guy.
One word: Xenophobia.
Obviously western development is completly and absolutely awesome since they cater to westerns and westerns alone. Needless to say, the same kind of thing goes on in Japan: "Hurr Western games suck what's wrong West you used to make games like Planescape: Torment"
Moreover, many people feel put off by overly cutesy, anime-esque artstyles and plots, which is why you also see articles like this.
Those complai...
I actually like Aoto's voice- the only voice I actually disliked in this trailer was Saki's one.
I mean, Cristina Vee's non-changing, high-pitched, completly annoying voice worked for Noel, worked for Louise, but doesn't quite do the trick for Saki.
Besides, her acting was quite...odd.
@Redempteur:
Honestly, I still fail to see your problem. I liked Aoto's voice, and how the actor actually puts some emoti...
And it's still not worth the hours of boredom you WILL go through with this game.
Just sayin', money's one thing, but wasting 50 hours of your life into forcing yourself to finish the game...well, yeah.
A not-so-niche title, actually, as NIS is actually targetting this one to a bigger fanbase, at least in Japan. That is, of course, more anime-loving people, including kids.
I myself expect Disgaea 4 to be around 100k sales on its first week- it's really obvious the game will sell like that. After that, however, I can actually see it doing 200k sooner or later.
I can only wish NIS good luck- and hopefully they'll have more budget to work in more PS3 ga...
Oh, if only the gameplay wasn't like playing an offline MMO.
"I was very responsible when I was 11, I was a gentleman, smart, and was raised very well."
That would be in your own perspective, considering it boosts your own ego. In reality, you probably were some annoying, immature, moronic and spoiled brat, like most, if not ALL of us were at the age of eleven.
Just saying.
@BiggCMan
I am just taking in account generalizations, which is why I typed "most".
...
Actually, Namco did a great job with Vesperia's localization.
Just saying, it was pretty good.
"Bioware's website is about 100x more informative, as are their forums."
"as are their forums"
I'm never getting close to that lair where the smell of cumstains over thoughts of waifus is incredibly concentrated, let alone the fact that the threads are basically circlejerks with fanboys getting on their knees and asking BioWare to take their dicks out.
I'll seriously never, EVER will even think of going back to...
I support this man's idealism, even with his stupid, immature points and his eye-raping grammar.
Alas, I've had the luck of only dealing with a very small selection of those...heartless, cold monsters, with their "OMG I SUCH A NERD" and "IM A GURL GAMUR GUISE XDXD" attention whoring (Dart, this is why many, many men hate female players), and in those times I've done nothing but be grateful for the "mute" option in the voice chat.
One would question the actual illegality of GeoHot's actions, actually. I mean, was what GeoHotz did "illegal" in first place? One could argue that he only provided tools, not profiting over anything, nor doing something explicitly illegal; suing 'im is like giving a gun manufacturer charges of murder, if the case concerns piracy, that's it. Or well, just blaming him of piracy, as fanboys like to think.
And, my dear Jaffe, I usually like your attitude, y...
