Yeah, a Triple-A remake to one of the largest games of all time taking more than three years to make? Ridiculous am I right?
Stuff like Fortnite is exactly what made the Switch an interesting prospect to people in the first place. The idea of being able to take "insert popular game here" with you.
The more Nintendo can do collaborations like this, the better.
Honest question, can you get through a comment without using the word "fanatics"?
I'm a huge DMC fan and, I can't put my finger on why, but this just doesn't look all that great. It SHOULD, all the pieces are there like the original director, and using the non reboot cast, but it just looks...uninspired.
Like how GTA is an overrated driving simulator, or how Mario is an overrated jumping simulator?
It's almost like describing what you do in a game and tacking "overrated" to the front of it doesn't mean anything.
@Knushwood Butt Actually yes, yes it is. Smash may include many characters from the series you mentioned, but make no mistake, gameplay wise it offers something nothing else on the system does yet.
The online aspect of Smash is something only Splatoon currently fills, and even then a fighter is massively different from a shooter.
You say "they" are going to screw this up, as in Nintendo. But ultimately the result lies in the hands of the games developer, and how much work they're willing to put in.
The vast majority of all Nintendo first party titles run at 60fps on Switch, and do a decent chunk of third party titles like FastRMX. So unlikely or not, it's a silly thing to assume.
For those who are disappointed(a.k.a most everybody), know that they clarified another core game(i.e. gen.8) would be dropping later in 2019.
Put up or shut up? They've barely talked about the game at all. 90% of the news about it is not stuff they themselves have released, like this pic.
I genuinely don't get what's so crazy about this release schedule that's getting people's panties in a bunch. It's a recently started remake of one of the biggest scale games in history. I don't see why a modern gen remake to FF7 WOULDN'T take at least 5 years if done properly.
Nah, it's clearly Air Buster, the boss you fight in the reactor with party members on both sides. Which is why we see Tifa and Cloud facing it, while Barrett is presumably on the other side.
You're sure doing a great job ignoring the games, by coming directly to an article about a new entry in it.
So, as someone who loved SO3 myself, but hasn't played the 5th one yet, what was so wrong with it? Because I heard that SO5 was going to be based on 3 more or less, so I had my hopes up.
Hard to see something that doesn't exist, coming.
Sorry, but putting a slash between " DLC/microtransactions " doesn't make them similar. What you described is DLC, not a microtransaction as the industry knows it. Someone bought a toy that adds content to their game. Not a toy that you need to repeatedly buy to make the game easier.
I find this mentality funny that just because a game finally delivers what it promised, that it in some way alone makes it a great or even legendary game. From my experience watching NMS gameplay, the very core of the gameplay was flawed and uninteresting. Adding something like multiplayer to a boring experience, is still going to equate to a boring experience.
In this case, any delays this game gets are probably for the better. This is realistically an indie team trying to recreate what was a AAA quality franchise, on drastically more powerful hardware. It's going to take a long time to make.
Wut.
So tired of the forced Vergil inclusion in everything. His story arc was great in 3, but it was finished and finished well. Give us something new instead of going to the well again, or worse, retconning existing stuff like Nero's design to do it.
