@bigmalky Wrong. FF12 is as good if not better than any of 1-10.
I don't. They already have Bravely/Octopath and Dragonquest to fill that void.
I'd rather they keep experimenting with the mainline series.
You have zero understanding of hardware if even at 400 dollars you think that's feasible.
Also, the cheap price is part of what makes Nintendo work.
@DarXyde Good for those review outlets, I'm capable of forming my own opinion. And what I played was retrospectively, a modern day smartphone game before they had a label to them.
The story took all of the worst elements of the original 7's, being completely inaccessible if you never played the original. This approach also hurt the story overall, as it had no identity or intrigue of its own, and was just an amalgam of fanservice moments that had little to do with e...
Crisis Core was absolutely terrible. It's gameplay had the depth of 1 ply toilet paper. All you do is go through a series of identical, bland hallway dungeons, and spam the attack button to beat enemies.
As the director of BOTW also directed Minish Cap, I'd love to see a fusion of the two. An open world that takes place on a miniature world scale could be really interesting.
Past TWO gens? Give me a break. Just because the Wii didn't appeal to hardcore gamers, doesn't somehow make it any less of a sales phenomenon the Switch would die to replicate.
Yeah they must have been, I had a comment that isn't here anymore as well.
You mean like the Gamecube that was stronger than both the PS2 and Xbox yet lost to both? Yeah clearly they need to make a "real" console like that again...
Can peeps on N4g start putting effort into their fake "I bought a switch, got Zelda, but was unimpressed and sold it later" stories? The second you mention shit like framerate or graphics, you know it's BS. That's not why anyone buy's a Switch in the first place.
They aren't understimating them, because they aren't the typical "Smash" and "Pokemon" people ask for. The prior is viewed by many as a mere expansion of Smash 4, and the latter is a casualized experience that many, and I mean many, of the core audience is not picking up.
They'll move some systems sure, but we're talking like 1-3 million. 10+ million is just laughable.
You can't use the "if this were on another console" line, because the strength of Nintendo's IPs are factored into the game's concept. Case and Point, Smash. There are literally hundreds of Smash rip offs, and even an "official" one in PlayStation All Stars, but they don't stick because the characters within them don't have the personality to carry that end of it.
People say that and yet it couldn't be further from the truth. Trump himself is a prime example that you can say whatever you want now, with zero ramifications for doing so.
There is simply too many wild opinions out there for anyone to be truly offended by anything.
You mean your witty comment? Agreed!
Please stop giving us other Nintendo fans a bad rap with stupid comments like this...
Not sure you know what the word "objectively" means. And your SUBJECTIVE opinion seems to be trash, given that you're the type to value arbitrary numbers over what you're actually seeing.
Don't worry, you'll get out of work before the developers do!
Oh good. The game industry has a huge shortage of indie LOZ clones...
@Jinger The words "talk" and "buy" mean different things believe it or not.
And people were wondering if any game could dethrone Red Dead as GOTY...
