Assuming Greninja was the beginning of a trend where they'll do one new Pokemon from the latest generation, I'd like to see Mimikyu from the 7th generation added in this one. Its notable ability of being able to take a free hit could work mechanically in so many different ways.
Disappointed they're adding non-canon characters to the mix, especially when there are sooo many from DBZ to pick from. Oh well, at the very least if that floodgate is opened, I'd like to see Janenba in, as well as some of the better GT designs like Omega Shenron and SS4 Goku/Vegeta.
Stale? Wow you are absolutely clueless. It's fair if you don't LIKE the work he's currently doing, but to say stuff like Wii Fit, which is so far outside the realm of what anybody else has tried in the industry, is stale, is ridiculous.
@Jinger It's an excuse if we never get one, till then, it's a reason. I mean jeezus Christ, the systems been out for just a year. I don't think I have to list all the services rival companies took years to release.
Yeah, silly us for wanting to play games we like without the annoyances of old technology like disposable batteries and no backlit screen.
Emulators aren't exactly easy to make buddy, there's a reason 90% of the ones on the internet are never truly finished. And considering that this is the first console featuring a lot of software/hardware Nintendo did not create themselves, it provides an even harder challenge to do so compared to prior systems.
Same. I miss the days of when gaming consoles took you to your game and not a home menu.
It must have been tough for you not being able to look at any screens growing up.
Games made in the ps1 to ps2 era were in the sweet spot of game development. Games were cheap enough to make that they could experiment without betting the house on its success. At the same time, they were still tough to make given technological limitations, so it guaranteed that the people making them were talented and cared about their product.
You probably wouldn't say it because you didn't read the article and instead substituted what you want to be reality in its place.
Also make up your mind. In every article you constantly claim it's a different market for the switch, but then somehow claim that its limitations compared to other systems hamper it. Buddy, the 3ds was drastically outdated from the second it launched, that didn't stop it from being a massive success.
Worded as if Microsoft as a company has ever given two shits about their game division. From the get-go its existed soley as a marketing endeavor to make a good buck without much effort. The second it doesn't turn a profit for them, Microsoft will drop the division immediately.
That Mario Tennis of all games is one they chose to emphasis in the press release, sets expectations extremely low.
That's a hard sell. Either they release them as is and people will complain they weren't enhanced, or they upgrade them and sabotage the sales of Prime 4 by releasing a similar product beforehand.
Sure, but you word it like its something you can write off as a Japan only thing. The Switch is overperforming across the globe, even if its not Japan level numbers.
"Generation" is a relatively inconsequential number assigned to systems. It doesn't change that the Switch, Xbone, and PS4 are directly competing for many of the same gamer's money at the same time.
No, not soon. Nintendo revises systems for profit, not for fun. So long as people continue buying the Switch and its games at their current price, they aren't touching anything.
What?! You mean to tell me Nintendo isn't going to upgrade the console that's been out for one year, and is selling like hot-cakes? I for one am shocked.
For starters, no, no there aren't a lot of games on the Switch that have frame rate problems. Secondly, people seem to have this misconception that the boost from moving to an X2 will somehow "double" switch's power or something like that, when in reality the upgrade would be relatively minor. To put it into perspective, an X2 STILL wouldn't be on par with the base XboxOne or Ps4 hardware, power wise.
Nintendo is thriving with a system already less powerful than the current competition that came out years prior. Needless to say, more power and resolution capabilities are not what a Switch consumer is swayed by.
DMC2's problems couldn't even be fixed with a remake. By the time they actually fixed it, it would be a completely different game.
