Gee, maybe read the article!
I mean, Nintendo promised support for it throughout 2018 right? I would not be surprised to see more things along the lines of Samus Returns or the Mario and Luigi Remake, in that time.
No point in remaking games you can still play on the 3ds itself.
Low Budgets killed the protagonists father and now he's out for revenge!
And, new playable characters? There's definitely some peeps I don't remember in the original if you scroll through the video.
Because games are supposed to be simple. Since when do games get bonus points for being complicated?
Nah, not that I don't think that "2" will be good if not great, but I can't see any world where it gets a 10. For starters, it doesn't have the benefit of the shock factor of the first one. It looks to be more of the first one, compared to BOTW or Odyssey which are wildly different from prior entries in their respective series. Secondly, there's already stuff that's turning some people off, such as the art style or story. We'll see, but I'm predicting any...
You haven't played it yet buddy.
Something like.....what? 3d movement in a full 3d world? You know, like Sun and moon just were? Or did you mean "realistic visuals"? Yeah, wonder how well that worked out for Pokemon Battle Revolution's pitiful sales.
Imagine what it would be like if Pokemon had no personality, and functioned like someone's first Unity project!
So, are they going to sue themselves after every Nintendo Direct stream?
Sucks that a 300 dollar tablet has to prove it can play some of the most demanding game experiences in full, or near HD? Mkay.
"Portability is not even a consideration for millions of gamers"
I believe the millions who bought the Gameboy, DS, and 3ds, would disagree with you.
I've never done drugs in my life and you made me question if I'm high or not.
Yeah, why would they want to a release a Final Fantasy on a system from the company that let them start the franchise in the first place? It's not like there is a built in fan-base who gobbled up games like Bravely Default, that they could make a ton of money from or anything. Right?
I keep wondering when game companies will learn to not try HD Rpg's when you don't have the budget to do it. They always end up looking the exact same way, like someone displaced PS4 models into a PS2 era game.
This article is the definition of changing the narrative to support your opinion. When your main defense is "this game doesn't play as well as it's sequel made FIFTEEN YEARS later", you know you're speaking out of you rear end.
Yep. It's very non-sensical to keep around a console that almost directly competes with the one you're trying to establish (the Switch). I say just drop the 3ds, focus on the Switch, and maybe try a different take on their Mobile Game venture.
If your bar for success is simply 30 million systems, then I'm not sure in what world those IPs aren't enough. If under your logic, Zelda alone got them to 5 million units(which sales have not remotely slowed from, and would be bigger if they produced more Switches), then it goes without saying another 5 for Mario, another 10 for pokemon, another 5 for Mario Kart 9, etc. is easy as pie.
Your opinion is very fossil.
