The movie trailer released actually looks pretty good (at least in a popcorn pure entertainment way, hopefully more so). However, even if it is made by the same people that did Folklore, I will remain extremely skeptical about the game, simply because it's a game based off a movie. While there are a few good ones, I would say they only make up about 5% of this type (better than the near 0% for movies based off a game).
Alan Wake is no longer a sandbox/open world game. It was announced quite a while ago now.

"No you didnt, unless you got a number that states apples are more popular then oranges, i think both are equally consumed."
What are you? 12?
Judging a game's quality on sales has no merit. Many games, as you said, are niche, and if you realized what a "niche" title is, you would realize that it references to a game targeted at a select demographic. In such a case, you are saying the people in that demographic aren't as impo...
Considering there was a wikia available for the game that's completely accurate and gives great strategies (better than this guide), before it was even released in the US, I find this superfluous, not to mention late to the party. (no offense to the article though, as it's not like one site has rights to post strategies)
Rogue Warrior also continues it's review streak as greatest game EVER made[period!]
"That is a perfect Snake. He's a brilliant Actor and he looks just like the dude and he's actually in shape and is a fitness trainer to boot. Trevor St. John is the man to play this character. He's the best actor working in the industry today. He works hard and he's multi versed."
Are you in love with the guy? He's never been the star of a movie (only playing a non-"movie guy 2" role a couple of times) and the only thing he would be known for is his role in a...
January 18th is when the embargo on GoW3 info is lifted, stated by Jeff Rubinstein from the Sony blog.
It is pretty well accepted that the footage that N'gai Croal and Hiphopgamer saw here: http://www.hiphopgamershow.... , is what will be released, and it's the footage of Poseidon that was seen in the recently released GoW3 scans from a Japanes...
I would never say these scans are "meh," as they look amazing. I think the problem is that a lot of people are claiming "SDF" (shouldn't phrases like that be in the open zone?) when someone doesn't bow down and claim it's the best looking game ever made, even if they still claim it looks good. GoW3 scans came out less than 24 hours ago that were also amazing, so it's not all "fanboyism" to make comparisons, since they are the two most high profile games being r...

Just on a note, if you don't like disagrees, NEVER say anything to disagree with Xi, as he has 8 accounts ready to click click click. Would think they would do something about people like that.
Anyway, scans look very very good. Amazing scans for two games in as many days. Can't wait to see them both in motion. Can't wait till they are both released, for obvious reasons, but also so everyone can shut up and quit comparing a fantasy hack-n-slash to a sci-fi F...

First of all, maintaining characters costs money, money that Funcom doesn't have a lot of because this isn't WoW.
Second, and by far the most important part: If your character isn't over level 20, that means you never really played the game for any purpose or reasonable amount of time in the first place, and sure as hell have no intention of returning to the game.
This article is WAY overblown for something that is completely expected. The game i...
Not that I would ever go back to the game, but I don't see how this is "blackmail." It takes like 4-5 hours to get to level 20, hardly a deal breaker for an MMO character. At least that's about as long as it takes from what I can remember. The game was incredibly easy to level a character in.
This list is good in certain parts (UC2 GotY, at least they got that right), but is plain strange and way off (imo) in many parts as well.
For one, Dirt2 as best graphics and best driving game? The game isn't even all that good, it's not bad, but nothing special at all. I have a feeling they praised this game just because it's a showpiece for DX11. I'm sorry, but while the game looks very crisp with DX11 running (this is only the PC version, as the console version didn't look ...

Asking the question of those two, which will sell more, and making the whole article about that, is definitely flamebaiting, especially stating they are in a head-to-head match. How can a game that comes out in the first quarter be in a head-to-head with a game that's coming in the 4th quarter? Did you write the article or something?
"Because I just did and it's one of the most respectful, thoughtful and well written I've seen in a while."

"The past GT games sold a whole load because of its bigger install base, thats it!"
Why do people keep saying this? GT3 was released about a year after the ps2 came out and it's install base was less than the ps3's is now, and it sold over 15million copies. Unless this article is about first day/week sales (which mean nothing compared to first year/lifetime sales), I would say Reach is the underdog.
Reach will definitely outsell GoW3,...
I think what suunyd meant was that he can't understand what you are trying to say. I'm guessing (hoping) English isn't your first language, because you could probably type out something in another language and run it through a translator and get better grammar. Anyway, don't mean to offend, but it's difficult to make out what you are trying to say in your post.
Rad Racer and 3-D Worldrunner on the NES came with a 3D mode and 3D glasses (the cheesy blue/red lense ones), and unless you already knew, you would never guess, it came from Squaresoft. It was their first two games ever released in North America.
We all know there will be a good portion of the game fought on Mount Olympus, and just judging by the cutscenes where we see Mt. O in the other GoW games, it's not gonna be dark and gloomy, at least not till after Kratos makes it that way.
Also, something we haven't seen other than from the first trailer, there will be fighting on the back of Gaia, where it's pretty obvious there will be tons of plants/trees/forests, which can kind of be compared to UC2. Similar to how we can ...
IGN has become a joke in terms of reviews and I highly doubt GT is getting all those hits from people wanting to see reviews.
In my opinion, it seems that if any site takes bribes, or reviews based off of a chart they have in the corner called "hype" it would be GT.
Gamespot has been pretty decent for the last year, year and a half. 4-5+ years ago, they were by far the best, then around the time the ps3 came along, they had all kinds of controversies (fi...
Pff, the largest beta ever is MW2. Hell, it's still going on and people had to pay for it, millions and millions of them!
Chuck is one of my favorite shows after last season. I'm guessing a lot of people watched some/all of season 1, and then decided that it was ok, but didn't want to continue. Season 2 is vastly superior, and season 3 has a pretty good start so far.
