Dark Age of Camelot during it's prime, and before Trials of Atlantis, had the best pvp I've seen in an MMO. Nothing else has come close to the feeling that pvp in that game gave.
I've always felt that if they did a remake of FFVI on a handheld, especially something with as little power as the current handhelds, it would be a huge waste. FFVI is better than FFVII by a wide margin, in my opinion. So when everyone asks for a FFVII remake on an HD console, I always hold out hope for an HD remake of VI. I think the level of marketing and wide audience for VII buries VI for a lot of people, who probably never got a chance to play VI, or felt no need to, because of it's &...
I would put Modnation Racers above Lost Planet 2, by a long shot. Other than that though, this looks like a good list for a great month.
The most obvious reason people would do both 10 and 25man is because of raid lockout. You can do two runs a week rather than one. Also, as said, the amount of drops is likely to be about double for 25man.
LoD sold well for being a non-Squaresoft/Enix RPG at the time, but it did not have the sales to put it in the same league as the FF games, and far more important for purposes of ps1 classic releases, it doesn't have near the recognition. While I am a big fan of the game, I wouldn't put it quite in the same league as FFVII-IX and Tactics (I know some will disagree), and having recently went back and replayed it, I realize, while better than a lot of RPGs on the ps1, it wasn't as well made as ...
If the girl wouldn't be interested because she saw you buying Toy Story, believe me, she wasn't interested anyway. ;) Also, Pixar movies transcend age, just like Disney classics. They aren't made for kids, they are made for everybody, which is why they are so good in the first place.
Yeah, I bought the keyboard, and it helped a lot at certain times when playing online.
I don't really remember what the name of the class was, but my main was the caster guy. Remember maxing him out, which I think was level 200...but it's been a really long time, may have been 100. Incredibly easy after a certain level range, even solo, but the game remained fun, especially since console online games were almost non-existent when the game was out, at least to the extent of PS...
Yeah, kind of funny that they misspelled (multiple times) the mistranslated name of Aerith. Her name was Aeris in the US version of FFVII.
Honestly, I completely agree and would have Crisis Core over FFVII. It's not as good of a game, but the emotion is far more prevalent. Of course, it's a handheld game, which, like it or not, will keep it off many lists. I'm much more of a console person myself, but there are still a lot of handheld games that deserve far more respect than they receive.
This is a pretty good list, but I know me personally, I wouldn't have the HL2 scene on there. HL2 and the two episodes are really really good games, but there is nothing all that emotional about the storyline, which includes the part they are talking about.
I would take out the HL2 moment and put in the end of MGS4 (not the very end with *you know who*), the part where they are all having the wedding ceremony and Otacon is talking about the hard life of Snake. People can say wh...
While the game really doesn't interest me, I can't wait for the movie to be released.

While I would have preferred a ps3 version of the game, I have to say that from what I've seen of the game, it looks amazing and every bit as involved as the console versions of MGS (with lesser graphics, of course, but still really good for PSP, so ps2 level).
The PSP has had and still has some really good games coming out for it, and while some have disagreed in the past, I've been very glad I bought one and have been glad when more than a couple of games have...
Ant Man. The most unfair, cheap character in the game. He's also in the picture...see him? Near the lights on Iron Man's boots...No. Wait. I think that's just a smudge on my screen.
"Gross over 10 Mill"
Does that mean the net amount sold will be less? Either that or you meant $10mil which would be pathetic for a Halo game.
Either way, Halo Reach will not affect the console war, because anyone that wants Halo, which is a lot, already have a 360. GT5 will probably sell just as many, if not more, copies and will probably be more of a system seller since there hasn't been a GT (full) released on the ps3 yet. Neither game will massively ...
Apparent from the first paragraph and throughout, this reviewer didn't want to like the game. You can't start off a review with an entire paragraph comparing it to a game that has nothing in common.
Granted, the storyline is fairly lacking throughout the game, but when everything starts to make sense later, it's not as bad as it seems early on. The three main characters are all pretty good and by the end have a good build around them, but I will admit that with a few exceptions...
No offense meant, but do you seriously trust Gametrailers over any other review? GT is probably one of the worst in my eyes. Good site for videos and exclusives, but they have pretty bad taste much of the time. Any site that gives Modern Warfare 2 GOTY over UC2, DS, Batman, AC2, etc. gets no respect in my book.
I think a big determining factor of whether the game ends up being anything special or not is dependent on how original it turns out. There are some things shown that seem kind of original (I know they've been done before, but not very often), like the rewinding time. Then there is the whole "gravity gun" aspect and missile-first person tracking that's been used to death. Also, the voice actor in the trailer is very cliche for these types of games. Not required to be a good game...
The clean look and great texturing actually make it one of the best looking MMOs I've seen (is it an MMO?). I like the look a lot, and although very early, I'm a little excited to see more. With that said, it's not very original looking, as it looks like a Warhammer ripoff (not that I really care about that if the game is good, Warcraft ripped off a bunch from Warhammer too, and I still like it).

Apparently you didn't hear all the stuff about EA a few years back and how all their developers and structure was based on the cubicle setup you here about and everything was strictly business-like and very "formal" and requiring way too many hours, 7 days a week. That type of setting does NOT work for a creative environment, as many game studios, employees and movie studios can attest. EA has since changed their behavior and made it more worker-friendly. Only r...
Hey, I'm American, and we, just like most nations, have plenty of idiots. That being said, I doubt much of the ignorance is determinate on origin of birth, and he (or anyone that makes such silly comments) would be just as off-base, no matter where he was from.
