I'm glad to read this, I haven't yet played Destiny 1 or any of it's DLC, I decided to recently buy The Collection, so it'll be good to know the servers will stay online for a while.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who's starting out in Destiny this year.

Anything can become addictive, it becomes a problem when you do that thing to the exclusion of anything else in your life that brings you balance.
Playing a lot of games, while also making sure you go to work/school, eating, exercising, sleeping a good length of time every night, socializing, paying your bills and learning new things isn't really a problem.

If you put games before everything else and don't keep yourself healthy as a result of only wanting t...

Exactly, technically owning more games isn't going to adversely affect your life in of itself, not like buying and consuming excessive amounts of alcohol or taking drugs or even food will.

A shopping addiction becomes a problem when you spend money you don't have, if you're buying games when you've only got money for your needs and your not taking care of the necessities of life then it's a problem, same thing if all your doing is playing games or going ...

Technically that would be a shopping addiction, which becomes an issue if you buy a product, instead of paying your bills or buying food.
If you buy games as a hobby and it doesn't negatively effect your life then it's not so much of a problem.

Phil's already said that he expects the base Xbox One to sell more than Scorpio, because the Slim and OG One are more accessible to consumers. Scorpio is what Pro is to the PS4, so success is just a matter of moving units within the market that wants a better experience, when compared to the launch XB1 and S.

All Scorpio really needs is to have games that use it's specs to provide a better experience, have an exhaustive list of patched games day one to show off the ...

Switch's using the Tegra X1, it's 2 years old and not even running at anywhere close to standard clock speeds when the system is docked.
The X1 is a 20nm chip, Nvidia, AMD and everyone else has access to 16 or 14nm nodes, the chip could have been 25% faster using the same wattage and form factor of case, plus the components Nintendo require to make the system are cheap when you add up the whole cost.

The only reason Switch is retailing for it's current ...

List them.
List the major AAA 3rd party releases coming over the Switch's first 3 months, list the Nintendo games releasing on Switch that aren't already available on Wii U.

You haven't used your head at all with these replies of yours.

So the system launched, it has nothing to sustain momentum, so it will tank in sales.
Waiting until E3 makes no sense when there are numerous major games that could be released on Switch, visible on store shelves to keep sales momentum up over the system's first quarter.

Once early adopters are satisfied the potential 1st quarter sales will drop well below what they could have been because there are no games that will interest those consumers.
Consoles...

You obviously don't.
E3 isn't happening until 3 months after Switch's launch, so even though the system was released onto the market it has no major exclusives or 3rd party (regardless of which region those games are intended to appeal to) for all of that time.

3 months with nothing major and last I checked video game publishers can announce copies of their games at anytime they choose now.
There have been umpteen major game releases since 2013...

Lookng at AMDs product line Scorpio's GPU is likely based on the RX580, which is effectively a 480, made using a more mature version of that cards processor.
AMD are making the chip and it's doubtful even Vega will trump Pascal.
The CPU is likely Jaguar because Scorpio's being made to be as close to Xbox One's core architecture as possible to make game code run as seamlessly as possible across Xbox hardware, Microsoft doesn't want to give themselves unnec...

Bend's last full project was released in 2011, they put out Uncharted Fight For Fortune in 2012, but they had a team prototyping things alongside U:FFF and since that shipped it's been over 4 years, they've been in full production on this since January 2015, with no new engine to create (just mods to UE4).
It's very possible Days Gone could release on that date, it was looking great at E3, with some awesome gameplay mechanics.

In order to release in...

The lineup for Switch is not anyway solid right now, there aren't any major AAA 3rd party games available on the system within that first month (or the first 6 for that matter), there are also no major 1st or 2nd party Nintendo AAA exclusives that you can't already buy on Wii U in that time either.

The reality is that Switch is reliant on one major Nintendo exclusive, along with a few single A level release games, a few minor 3rd party casual games and a bunch of in...

If the team that made Fallout 4 are now working on the sequel to Skyrim perhaps that game will release in 2018, I wouldn't expect Fallout 5 any earlier than 2021, likely in the Fall of that year, seems likely it would be released on PS5, the next Xbox and comparable PC architecture.

Perhaps another studio are working on a Fallout spin-off similar to New Vegas, since it's been nearly 7 years since NV released Bethesda have had plenty of time to put something together...

A mainline Pokemon game, with new creatures, additional locations could help big time, but Nintendo needs games that can appeal to a new audience that Nintendo fails to target, namely the gamer that buys western 3rd party titles.
Nintendo should also be begging western 3rd party publishers to put their big AAA games on the system, more games, that appeal to a bigger audience, with full content can only help boost the system's appeal.

The big difference between Sony and Nintendo's lists of announced games is that Sony's includes 3 fresh new IPs, plus none are really niche in their global appeal, especially in Europe and the US (The biggest console buying markets), they're each targeted towards different types of gamers, plus they will also appeal in the east.
Out of Nintendo's list only Mario, Splatoon and Pokemon will have wide reaching appeal.

Sony doesn't have a single dup...

Since PS4 lunched ND have shown something related their major project of the time, so it seems likely they'll show of gameplay footage for The Last of Us Part 2, failing that Uncharted The Lost Legacy will certainly get new stuff and most likely a release date.

Even without TLOUP2 there's a load of big exclusives Sony already has to cover, plus the likely reveal of whatever Sucker Punch are making.

Well as things stand Sony could unveil Sucker Punch Production's new IP, a new exclusive by From Software, Studio Japan are rumored to be working on a massive new IP, plus there's potential for other surprises for them considering that they're Sony's biggest development house, London are always busy on projects, they also have a huge workforce, yet it's been a long time since they revealed what that army of devs are making.

There are other external partn...

The original roadmap wasn't Destiny 1 being supported for 10 years, Bungie had Destiny, then expansions, then a sequel (I think they called it Comet back then), expansions and further sequels, with expansions inbetween and after future sequels.
I don't recall Bungie ever saying players could always carry their characters through every stage of the franchise.

I doubt Destiny 1 will become unplayable, with it's expansions and everything in the first game&...

Except PS4 has been selling more games to go along with that greater volume of console sales.
The global stage has always been what matters most to any product maker and in this area Sony have sold more games and consoles.
As for the US PS4 has outsold XB1 for over 30 of the 44 months that make up this generation, it's doubtful that XB1 has even won 12 months worth of sales in the States.
PS4's exclusives hace held consistently higher sales than XB1's ha...
