They may be right but should focus on making sure 2k11 doesn't end up looking awful. If they blow it with Jordan, they're done.
Ok, where's the $75 NAS? You're talking about a game console. While we're at it, can you put your games on the NAS? It's bigger than 16G isn't it?
Get a NAS is a silly response. The proprietary HD is a huge weakness of the Xbox platform. And its purpose is to squeeze money on the peripherals. I don't hate MS for it. But it sucks for consumers.
Now this is an insult to gamers' intelligence. Shame on MS.
As opposed to waving a wand around with a glowing ball on top looking very "sweet"?
I think they're both stupid and hope they both fail. Except for hands free navigation.
Casual gamers also play a lot of XBLA games.
Also keep in mind MS has virtually no Japan presence which plays a lot of games like FF and others that don't necessarily appeal to the US Market.
I still don't know who plays Flower? I only care about US. I know MS and Sony care about the rest of the world, but I don't.
As for L4D, how many times can you kill hordes of Zombies. Hell, the zombie game I looking forward to now is Dead Nation, a PSN game. That's why Resident Evil went virus. You can only take kill all zombies so far.
I loved Dead Rising but am not really looking forward to DR2. First off, I prefer Frank West to this motorcycle guy in the tired yellow racing jacket, and second, because they had no story-line other than kill all zombies, the story now is not one I can really...
You hit the nail on the head. Niche and genre games. Alan Wake is a flashlight flick game. Mass Effect is story drive and lots of text.
The other aspect is how long games take. With the average gamer being in their 30s, most have jobs, families, significant others. Game that you can sit down, master, and enjoy in a short amount of time have an edge. I think this is the same on all platforms.
All racing games are niche. I hate simulators myself. But I will...
I'm not interested in any of those games. I think there's a general drough. Never like GT. I'm looking forward to Codemaster's F1 and I'd rather have it on the PS3. I'm also looking forward to several PSN games. Magic the Gathering (already on XBLA), Alien Breed Impact (already on XBLA but improved for PSN), Dead Nation. Madden 11 and NBA 2k will probably get a buy and again, due to grahpics and sound, PS3 is preferred platform.
For the most part, I no...
Same here. I love the wirelss headset. Works gerat on the PC, even with Office Communicator on our VOIP system.
If he just wanted to bash MS he'd bas the proprietary hard disk. Just ridiculous. I can add a 640G drive to my PS3 for $75. How much are Xbox hard drives?
On top of that MS is limiting USB storage to 16G so those purchasing the cheaper Arcades will have no choice but to buy and overpriced Xbox HD when they need more storage.
This is the way the industry has been. The PS3 has changed that with regards to storage. But I'm just making the point that he r...
Keep in mind that Wireless-G devices interfere with Wireless-N and will slow down all N devices using your router. A dual band router allows you to have separate channels/bands for G and N. This could be part of the problem. Also, make sure your router's firmware is up to date.
If he had been thinking straight (and I admit, he had taken a beating) he would have run to get them in range for a chip shot in the NFC Champ Game and they would have made it to the SB. 1 Play. Then he would have gotten 99.
They gotta do something. 2K getting Jordan will do massive damage to their BBall franchise.
Hasselbeck has been done for a couple seasons now. Schaub, yes.

When you find out where to sign up let me know. I don't care which side it is as long as I get paid. But I'm not interested in Demos, Betas, Wallpapers, Avatars, or Themes. I need cold hard cash.
Edit: OK, I'll settle for 75,000 MS Points or a voucher for a free PS3 Slim with Wireless-N when its available.
I don't know. I sold 2 Xboxes and I'm PS3 now. But I'm tempted. Really tempted. Wireless-N, ESPN, the ease of Netflix, XBLA, Gears 3. It's going to be hard not to buy the Arcade at a minimum, especially if rumors of $149 are true. I just wish there was no brick.
I sold my first to get an Arcade w/HDMI. I sold the second because it was too loud. Couldn't watch a movie and hear any quiet passages. PS3 is slient, plus Blu-ray. But, I haven't bought any Bl...

RE1 was, and created the genre. But you have to take the story somewhere or it will have to end. Hence, the whole Virus, insane billionaire family rule world thing.
The Lost in Nightmares DLC was promising though. They could redo RE1 with the RE5 engine and I'd buy it. We'll see what RE6 holds.
I though Chris juicin' up on steroids was a little over the top and quite hilarious. They went overboard with that.
So, back in 2005 the Xbox should have had a Kinect port and peripheral?
Xbox has a 3 Core CPU that had to be integrated on the same silicon with the GPU to create this Xbox right? That was not available in 2005.
Remember MS took a loss on each Xbox for a looooong time. If they included all those things back then (not that they could have) they would not have been able to make and sell the Xbox.
