It's way too small to use at anything resembling TV viewing distance, but at computer monitor distance it should work just fine.

Personally I'll be sticking to my new 51" Samsung plasma 3D TV for PS3 games and movies and my 24" PC monitor for (non-3D) PC gaming.

Actually I've quite been enjoying the PC version of Hunted. I've been enjoying inFamous 2 even more though, so I naturally think it's utter ridiculous to give either of them a 6.
Personally I would probably give Hunted a 7.5 or 8, and inFamous 2 a 9.

I'm really looking forward to this game. Based on the demo, Dungeon Siege is unfortunately looking like it might prove quite a disappointment, and I'm not really holding my breath for Diablo 3 until next year. Late next year. Or 2014.

I'll settle for the Samsung Galaxy S II Android phone I just ordered last night, but then again it's likely to be quite rare that I'll feel like doing any gaming on a handheld device. The PSP I bought a couple of years ago has been gathering dust for the last year, and probably never got more than 40-50 hours on it before then.

Whenever I've had the PSP (or my iPod Touch) with me on a vacation and I've felt in the mood for a bit of gaming, I've usual...

They may be overcharging, but damn this game is fantastic - price be damned :).
I've been playing all night - even more than the original inFamous this is one of those "just one more main quest, just one more side quest, just a few more hidden times to find or things to see" games.

If I wasn't so tired my head was spinning, I would be playing for another several hours :).

Already with the 2011 models, 3D is standard in the mid range models from several manufacturers.
I just bought a Samsung PS51D550 3D plasma TV two weeks ago - ie. the mid range 5 series, with no fewer than three more expensive series above it, 6, 7 and 8 - and they even have 3D in one or two of their 4 series models this year (although those are only 720p instead of 1080p displays).
That more or less goes for the LED models as well.

It's definitely a f...

I just played the DS3 PC demo a few hours ago, and unfortunately I agree with the many others on the Steam forums who were sorely disappointed.
I won't rule out it might play better with a controller than mouse and keyboard though, but I guess I'll find out when I try out the PS3 demo.
Everything about the PC version of this game, except for screen resolution and framerate, is screaming "console port" - controls, interface, skill layout, inventory etc. - su...

It's a movie tie-in - I certainly wouldn't hold it against anyone if that made them a tad skeptical :).

Too low a score. I'm six hours into the PC version - playing solo with AI partner - and so far it's been one of the most enjoyable first person action adventures/dungeon crawlers I've played in quite a while.
At least opting for archery with E'lara, I haven't played as Caddock since a brief section of the prologue, so I don't really know how much fun melee combat may or may not be in this game.

In fact I've been having a lot more fun in ...

When you make up new terms, doesn't it make sense to choose something that won't instantly make everyone think it's merely a typo of an existing word?

I was hesitant to buy this game after first a distinct lack of reviews, and then rather mediocre scores (although most of those 7ish reviews did seem to like at least certain aspects of the game).

I'm four hours into the PC version now (somewhere in chapter 2) - playing solo - and I'm very glad I decided to take my chance with this game. So far it's been one hell of an entertaining dungeon crawl (with some stints under open sky) playing as E'lara. I can'...

I'm still making my way through L.A. Noire. I've been enjoying it so far, but already here on the ninth story mission I'm starting to suspect the repetition will make me lose interest in another few missions.

I'm impressed by all the work that clearly went into making this game, but in terms of a gameplay - and a beautiful, large open city that mostly seems wasted other than sight seeing between mission points - I have mixed feelings.

I think I'll take my chances on the PC version tonight. It's not exactly getting glowing reviews, but most of them do seem to have some praise to give to various aspects of the gameplay, and the game does look pretty interesting to me. Particularly the cover based archery.

It's exceptionally useful how much of the map you can suddenly see when you're playing the game at 1920x1200 :). It also looks great.

A quick test suggests these drivers worked wonders for my Witcher 2 performance. On my quad core PC with an aging Geforce GTX 260, I'm now getting around 35-50 fps most of the time at 1920x1200 (medium-ish settings) in the same area where I was struggling to stay above 30 before at 1680x1050 with the 275.27 beta driver.

The framerate still dropped into the mid to high 20s when I strolled into a populated town area though.

I guess I can finally start p...

This was one of the first games I played on my Amiga 500 if I recall correctly. I also seem to vaguely remember being absolutely terrible at it - never getting very far - but having fun nonetheless :).

It's fun, but - having just started playing - I must admit that after initially setting up a house and having a couple of NPCs move in, it feels like I've just been spending three hours digging in random directions, hoping to run into iron, silver and gold.

I've actually resorted to using a map generator so I have just some hints on where to dig, otherwise I could probably be spending a few weeks swinging a pickaxe, placing torches and run into the occasional mo...

The issue of geographical size is impacted greatly by all the fast (and fun) means of transportation in JC2.
Getting across that 400(?) square mile area might be faster than crossing the 16 sq miles of Oblivion.

Couldn't Morrowind be completed in something like ten minutes if you made the "right" choices? :)

In any case, calling a 60 hour game small is a bit ridiculous in my opinion. Even ten years ago that usually qualified as a pretty sizable RPG (or an insanely huge game of just about any other genre, and JC2 as you use as an example here obviously fall in that group).

Now 6-10 hour shooters or 20 hour RPGs - as we see so often these days - those...

Yes, I'm ready.

I love my PS3 - as both a game console and a media center - but I really would love to be able to play most console games in native 1080p at 60 fps, rather than 720p at an often unsteady 30ish fps.
And it's probably not going to get any better now that I've just bought a 3D TV and hope to see a lot of 3D games that both look great and perform well.

Although I guess there's probably a pretty high risk that when we d...
