I definitely wouldn't place Mass Effect 2 at number one on that list - and that's based on my so far three play throughs of the PC version maxed at 1920x1200.

Yes, it has great facial animation and mostly fairly great looking faces in general (except for the not too flattering job they did on Yvonne Strahovski as Miranda), but even though most of the environments are also a significant visual step up from ME1, it's definitely not enough to warrant a first place ...

I'm with fei-hung - after the 1:1 motion tracking of The Fight: Lights Out there's no way I can go back to playing a boxing game with a gamepad.
Well, unless I'm not in the mood for sweating and hyperventilating perhaps :), but then I would probably just choose a different game genre to relax with.

Oh great, a male feminist - they tend to be even more grating than the female variety.

I must admit I'm finding it a bit hard to understand how anyone can get worked up over a web site showing a bunch of hot chicks in skimpy outfits - or how that's supposed to be misogynistic.

Yes, space and lighting requirements are more tricky here than for PS Move games (but similar to Kinect I suspect?, I've been having a blast with this game.
Right now I'm just waiting for my legs to recover so I can dive in again - I don't think I've kicked anything over ankle height for a decade :).

IGN also gave The Fight: Lights Out a 4, didn't they (although that game got ridiculously low "professional" review scores in general)? T...

I have no first hand experience with Kinect, so I can't comment on that, but saying that holding a controller is supposed to be a bad thing about Move is just plain ridiculous.

And where the hell did they come up with that postulation that there are only eight Move games?
I don't have the total number on hand here and I don't have time to go looking for lists now, but including old games that have had Move support patched in, and new games that give you...

They left out The Fight: Lights Out, which may very well be one of the most underrated games in several years.
Fortunately most of the user reviews on various sites (Metacritic, Amazon etc.) strongly disagree with the "professional" reviews.

My vote goes to FemShep and Liara, although Nathan Drake and Elena is another pick high on my list (Emily Rose who plays Elena is great in the new Haven TV series).

Looks decent, but I'm pretty sure I've come across more impressive Mass Effect fan art at deviantArt.

But not having much artistic talent at all myself, I guess I'm not one to criticize :p.

I have way too many games I haven't finished anyway (and a few that aren't really of the type that you finish but just play whenever you're in the mood for another round, like GT5), so I don't think a limited number of December releases is going to be a problem for me.

Right now I'm trying to juggle GT5, AC: Brotherhood, Fallout: New Vegas (PC version), NFS Hot Pursuit and The Fight: Lights Out.
And I have a bunch of other PC games from Steam th...

Looks like a very interesting game indeed. It's a shame it's only available on the US store.
Anyone know when or if it's coming to the EU store?

So that's why I'm level 13 and still haven't noticed as much as a scratch on any cars?

I honestly haven't cared all that much as I consider this a driving/racing game rather than a demolition derby, but I must admit that I find it a bit ridiculous if they are hiding away basic features relating to the cars and physics (crash physics rather than handling physics in this case), until you've been playing for a substantial number of hours.

GameStop called me at noon today and told me the game was ready to be picked up, which I did a few hours later.

I guess some of them (this one in Denmark) aren't too concerned about release dates :). It sounds like it has been broken by a ton of stores anyway, at least here in Europe.

@Garnett

I personally like a wide range of racing games, from NFS Hot Pursuit I just bought for my PS3 today, to iRacing on PC played with my G25 wheel.
And next week I'll of course be picking up GT5.

For sim racers PC remains the only platform - and obviously no sim racer is ever going to make the utterly absurd attempt to use mouse and keyboard for a racing game, hell even playing a pure arcade racer like that is insanity.
A good f...

I really can't recall the last time I've so strongly disagreed with so many "professional" review scores.
Around 12-14 of the 18 reviews at Metacritic are so far off the mark in my opinion that it's like they've been playing an entirely different game.

The more I play The Fight the more I feel it's at least a solid 8 as a game (initial impressions had me sitting somewhere between 7 and 8) and damn near a 10 if I had to rate it as an ex...

@Thegamer41

That seems a bit odd to me as well, but I'm guessing they stopped making the G25 and perhaps the option to use sequential stick shift (which was ditched for the G27) is what might be fetching a surprisingly high price for the remaining G25 stock?

5543d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

My G25 - bought a few months after it was first released back in late 2006 if I recall correctly - is still going strong. I've mostly been using it for racing sims on PC, but I'm looking forward to hooking it up to my PS3 again next week :).

I had a Driving Force Pro prior to the G25, and if I'm not mistaken the Driving Force GT is essentially the same wheel with a few improvements and additions, so for those not willing to shell out for a G25/27, the GT is a fi...

Sports Champions (mainly table tennis and disc golf) and The Fight: Lights Out are easily my two favourite Move games.
The Fight was criminally underrated by "professional" critics - it has a few flaws but the most important factors, solid fighting mechanics and near flawless, lag free 1:1 motion tracking are in place. And it's great exercise as well.

I have no clue how several of those reviewers pulled those 3 and 5/10 scores out of their a****. I im...

Another terrible review for a great if slightly (with emphasis on slightly) flawed game.
Just like MasterOfThe12Blades I find myself wondering what the hell is wrong with these reviewers (not that many have even bothered to review it) when it comes to this game?

Head tracking seems to be unlikely to work for most people (but it still plays fine without it) and there a few other things that take a bit of time to get used to, but otherwise The Fight: Lights Out is gr...
