I don't think Cliff is the best choice. He helped Gears become a great action series (just remember, Cliff is only one person that's part of a team behind the franchise but gets the most recognition due to his publicity). Gears is a covered system action game that plays in waves. You move a bit and the enemies come, you move down the path a bit and more enemies come. It's not really the atmosphere or story that people buy the games for.

Capcom might be better off ...

Nice to see Vita get another solid title under its belt.

There are a few reasons why going to next generation can be a good thing. One is it can bring new attitudes and fresh ideas. Right now we are in a bit of a glut of games as far as new ideas and innovation. A common excuse of not bringing out fresh IP's is that it's late in the cycle. I personally think anytime is a good time but if it takes new hardware then so be it. Another reason is the current tech can hinder what they want to do. Whether it be DVD's and having to swap disks o...

BitbyDeath, not for me. It notifies me and I have to download it even though it gives me other updates it has done in the background. I like the automatic feature but it won't do it for system updates, at least not for me.

I am a PS+ member but I still have to update it myself, even though it's set to automatic. The reason being is you have to agree to the terms each time there is one, which is ludicrous considering the whole point to having PS+ is to be online. Not a big deal seeing as how they don't take too long.

I think spreading them out makes more sense in today's times. There is simply a lot more stuff to choose from.

As for the complaint about the Wii U getting a lot of the same third party content, isn't that a good thing? That was a major weak point on the Wii and now they have a system that's as capable as the others. The argument that they are available elsewhere doesn't mean much to the millions and millions who don't own those systems. Should Sony and M...

There is lots Nintendo can do in the online world with their IP's yet are still reluctant to do so. So yes, they do innovate in certain areas but fall behind in others.

Nimblest-Assassin, thanks for putting it all in perspective. The games looks very good.

Most have left but I see no possibility of Nintendo buying Rare back.

This game looks very interesting, anyone know how well it works with Move?

They are trying to space them out but I agree, they could do a better job at it. Either way this games looks good and I'll find the time.

Just to be clear, in no way was I thinking of the PS3 in my earlier comment. I was actually giving praise to how much they are able to get out of the Xbox 360 and how the games still stand up (technically) today.

Technically it sounds quite impressive given the hardware it's on.

With Smartglass coming, along with Windows 8 and Microsoft going towards a more broader approach of linking various devices, I think having games transition from the Xbox to the PC is inevitable. This could be a reason why Valve is so upset with Windows 8, it could trump Steam as far as penetration (not likely as customer satisfaction though).

If a game has content purposely locked out to gather more revenue later on then that to me is showing a very poor relationship with your customers. I understand games have a deadline and some content may not have been ready when it went gold, that's understandable. I also don't whine about DLC that isn't needed. I like that we can have the option of DLC, it can prolong the interest of a game and it can also be used as a good feedback tool. At the end of the day it comes down to if...

Actually some people do care about the inner political workings. Some people actually believe you should be able to voice your own opinion and not have your job at stake for exploiting how things really are.

The problem is we continue to be sidetracked by marketing and with all of these influences how can we trust anyone? Here we have Geoff Keighley pictured for an interview who looks like a NASCAR racer surrounded by brands. You think he's going to be honest? He has peop...

That's the trick with the service, you feel like you're getting great value by all of these offerings. Trouble is a lot of it is stuff you probably no longer care about or would not buy now. A great example is Crysis 2. That game is over a year old. That may not seem like a long time ago but for a game who's major portion is online play time means a lot. The flipside is it generates new interest and can make the online community come alive again but chances are that will be short ...

I know, now watch Nintendo do everything in their power to remove this.

How much was spent on the actual game and how much is being spent on marketing?

Bad mistake leaving Sony? What exactly did they do on the PS3 besides more Ratchet & Clank and Resistance? I say give them a chance before writing them off. They enjoy making games and wanting to reach out to more people, nothing wrong with that. Plus now they are in control of their IP's. The other thing is they are still providing content for Sony.
