And what does Xbox ever show that’s braggable?
Xbox promises, Sony delivers; wait patiently.
Maybe the devs stick to their vision. The guns are fine, fix other stuff.
They need to make impacts collapse tunnels, as well as the EXPLODING crossbow… fire just chars the walls.
Y’all are too hard on 5… yea, they should’ve cut V and worked on more set pieces instead, but the combat and bosses are perfect.
Helldivers 2 manages just fine…
Keep production costs low… don’t just make custscenes until the mechanics and enemies are perfected first.
Make so much content that you can drip extra content for years, and the game already feels complete without them.
Most importantly: make weapons, enemies, levels, and mechanics that will stand the test of 1000 hours. This might require more devs embracing procedurally generated leveled, which I thin...
FALSE.
I just had my first +500 kill ever with the new crossbow (*640 kills 😎)
The new guns don’t suck, you suck.
No they don’t… Not with Helldivers 2 on fire right now.
I bet they can keep Divers happy until September. I’d appreciate at least a Wolverine update around then.
When previews delay a game by 6-12 months, I want LESS previews.
I mean, Unreal 5 allows devs to just “scan” irl environments in order to create digital counterparts.
So, every Unreal 5 game should have cool rocks and such…
It’s only consider the best because it has infinite ammo.
I bet ppl feel differently once they appreciate how the Spear and Recoilless now get double the ammo from pickups. Before that, I basically had to ration only one Spear rocket per supply drop, and hope to find ammo if I went over that usage rate. Otherwise, you will run out of ammo.
Please, for the love of God, don’t model every GaaS from Sony after Destiny’s model. That model sucked.
Look to Arrowhead. I’d argue they’ve made the best GaaS game to date.
When Phil started promising over a decade ago that “the games ARE coming”, nobody thought he meant that Xbox would become a $300-500 Steam machine.
It would be neat if I could become a PC gamer too for $300, without the worries of driver updates and cooling systems, but that doesn’t seem feasible.
I highly doubt a $300 box could run every major Steam game at 30 fps.
Please prove me wrong :/
^^This is the true situation at hand that this article feels paid for by M$ to obscure and twist to their liking.
My Xbox friends tell me all the time how there are no games to play, and I remind them that I’m playing Helldivers 2 on ps5 while sitting in a party chat on Xbox; and I wish they’d all trade in their XsX’s to play with me.
There are always games, just not always new ones worth playing on Game Pass :/
Xbox would need enviable exclusives first before they can “rethink” their approach to how they choose to release them.
The issue with exclusives is that their budgets are starting to exceed their market size; the risk is either too high, or simply insurmountable.
Xbox has the most money, but ZERO enviable exclusives… why?
IGN is a joke…. This reads like a school paper that lacks a work cited page because nothing is citable.
If you look at the rankings, it seems clear they will extend it to level 1000 eventually.
Hahahahaha, “they just want a gold gun or a squirrel suit”
I hate how accurate this is… I’m just happy that Arrowhead seems dead set on maintaining their tone for the game, and are extremely unlikely to release something dumb like a Snoop Dawg skin for a quick cash grab.
I resent the gamer attitude of “it’s impossible”, because that is rarely the case.
People complain about the Hulks and tanks being too strong, but I also see them just spraying their armored fronts with a shotgun and ignoring the weak spots on their backs…
Maybe try to be better first before claiming NOBODY can do it.
Idk how you put in 200 hours already. I play a lot, and I’m at about 120 hours of mission time myself…. It’s been less than 8 weeks.
As much as it would be neat to have an endless supply of unlockables, I’ve been pretty content by the rate that they shadow drop new weapons and enemies.
If you look at the armory, it says how many helmets and such they are planning to launch… It’s a pretty high number.
Try playing less than 25 hours a we...
Ummm, have we purged the galaxy of the Terminid scum, and the socialist Automatons?
Have we even come close to taking Malevalon Creek?
No, so get back out there and have fun spreading Managed Democracy.
That is drawn from the comics, but I don’t personally recall this EXACT comic panel.
It’s the opening shot for both trailers, which seems to imply a reference.
